    This is a kit I found at Aliexpress I have never tried it but it looks similar to what I build with no need to 3D print anything.

    sweet bit of work there, Tyler! 2 suggestions for future reference: 1) radius the camera side of your clamping relief slots (square edges are stress risers, the weight of the hanging mass will eventually make that the point of structural failure); 2) print yourself a "sun shade" for the objective bell of your scope (that way the objective lens gets less IR pollution from your light source, AND your lens doesn't reflect stray ambient light to spook the pests, rats especially can see in the UV spectrum). VERY minor critiques, and once again, a VERY workmanlike, impressive solution!

    I watched all three of your videos. Really neat design, you're clearly very talented. Source somekind of pouch for the battery that fits over the rifle's stock, and you'd be able sell the whole kit fairly easily. Keep up the good work.

    Hey there Tyler, I have watched all three videos and love them. I don't know if you did or didn't say it but, How long did it take for the printing process. I hope I didn't miss you telling that bit of info when I was getting water. I don't want to look like a bafoon.

    • @MrTidangerous
      @MrTidangerous  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't say. I think the scope adapter part takes about 13hrs and the camera holding part about 8 hrs. Then the lcd-flash light holder is 5hrs.

    Impressive. Nice job. I ran across this looking for the least expensive way to get a night vision scope. But, I have to ask. All the attention to detail that had to take place to perfect this set-up, then "Thanks for watchen" shows up. Was "watching" too much to fit on the screen, so you shortened it to "watchen?" Not trying to give you a hard time, it just gave me a chuckle to see that when everything else was very detail oriented.

    • @MrTidangerous
      @MrTidangerous  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am glad to know ppl are staying hooked clear to the end of the video. I was trying to spell "watching" the way I say it. I asked my wife and she said it should of been " watchin' ".

    • @tubehound69
      @tubehound69 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      now I know. Thanks for satisfying my curiosity. I almost didn't ask, because I was afraid it would come off as sounding like I was trying to be a jerk. A mental image of you not being able to fit the G from "watching" on the screen and just short-cutting it to "watchen" came to mind, making it humorous to me because of all the precision and detail.

      @@beenbanggen263 are you interested in one made of aluminum? I cant imagine ABS being too much lighter. maybe have it to where you can record and take pictures too? Probably one with a little more rigidity when attached to the scope.

      The IR filter blocks IR light so we remove it. You will then be able to use an IR flash light to illuminate your traget.

      +Bill Gabriel
      You should be able to mount this to any scope as long as the part the scope adapter mounts to is smooth. You will just need to edit the stl file for the scope adapter to match your scope.

    • @billgabriel6537

      +Kalibrgun Precision sniper
      The shot at the end of the video is at about 60 meters. I'm sure it could go farther with a more powerful IR flashlight.

    • @feellikemusic1725
      @feellikemusic1725 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      tyler ward top build Tyler!!! if you use CCD camera with Sony effio chip than will be more clear the image because cmos Camera's won't pick up IR light that much.

    What range do you get with this?

    • @MrTidangerous
      @MrTidangerous  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      About 50 yards with this light. If you had a more powerful light you could get more range but the light would need to be veritable to prevent whitening out the image.
