My wife has a bunch of stuff prepped and in air tight bags in the basement. We started our small prepper journey earlier this year. On the other hand… she wasn’t home. 😆 We really we’re interested in homesteading as well, but my ambitions require more time and energy so I don’t have time to homestead myself. Kuddos to the peepers and homesteaders 👊🏼

@@DiligentDad you don't have to be a homesteader to do prep work for emergencies. Just think of the emergencies that could happen in your area and make sure you have the basic necessities that you'd need to feed and shelter that beautiful family you have there. This situation probably taught you that a small camp stove to boil water or cook other foods would probably be beneficial. 😉
With Hurricane Fiona we were out for 15 days!! It sucked!
We were out for about 3 days. Didn’t realize how complicated it makes things until this storm. 15 days is a long time!

Yup! I didn’t show the footage, but my wife came home and cooked steaks on the grill. The Blackstone griddle grill proved to be useful.
