Looking good mate. Im about to pull all my Prado's rear storage out and do a rewire tidy up and swap to rear mounted battery, I was happy with all my wiring initially but as you said, as you add things the wiring tends to get 'messy' will be good to have it all neat and tidy again. 200amp Lithium slim Line is 25kg vs the 32kg the 105 amp Full river! so less weigh for way more capacity.
Hi mate, I’ve not long ago got the same grille, just looking to wire it up now. Would you have any insights as to wiring? Mine wasn’t supplied with a diagram. Cheers
Hey mate, Yeah mine didn't come with instructions either. There is a Red wire and a Pink wire. From memory the pink goes to battery power, and red is to your switch circuit to tell the badge to light up. I chose to wire it into the park light circuit. Then the Yellow wires are for the indicators, but they arent labled left or right. From memory the longer yellow wire is for the drivers side, but test each one beforehand. Let me know if you need any more help.
Hi mate, Thanks for the reply. I've only biw managed to free some time to look at a few wiring jobs in the engine bay. Looking at the wiring the pink connects to the +battery terminal, the black to the ground and the red hooked to my DRL circuit. But I found the sign was always illuminated, even when the ignition was off 🤷🏽♂️ had me stumped. Not sure if my trigger wire is correct.
Hey mate, that was a pro level stripping job, thanks for sharing it with us. I have a 2010 Toyota prado, I'm trying to replace my LH and RH hand break cables, It looks like I need to remove the central console to fit the break cables to the hand break leaver, after finishing my work under the car, do you have any materials / images on how to remove the central console of a 2010 toyota prado, I’m just afraid that if I pull anything without knowing how things are attached I might end up breaking things, any help or suggestions from your side would be much appreciated. Thanks mate, keep up the good work.
Cheers mate! No I don't sorry, I never had much to do with 150 series Prados. But if they are like any other Toyota then you woul remove the centre console and cup holder sections to reveal the handbrake cables. Usually 2x 10mm bolts under a rubber floor mat in the centre console, and the cup holder just pops up and out.

Once you weigh the pros and cons of lithium, its easy to make the jump! So much better and more reliable than Lead Acid.
Hope you are well mate.
