@@natem6873 really cuz im downtown right now and on high and spring theres the ymca and a bunch of bums sleep aroumd there on the street. And theres a nasty smell of sewage around the capital. Theres overflowing portapottys everywhere. And just realized this a few days ago but the population of low income people hang around there and they make downtown look like shit. What else the majority of store fronts are abandoned and empty just like downtown its self. And theres alot of people with mental problems just yelling at people. I just had a woman yell at me " those were my scissors" and this kind of thing happens regularly i should know because im downtown every single day. Idk about you but im getting tired of seeing degenerates smoking weed and crack at bus stops while listening to their god awful rap music. It makes columbus look like shit
@@big.dans.dicks.and.doughnuts the YMCA usually will have a few homeless people there but thats really the only big group of homeless Downtown columbus is nothing compared to other cities even around the 1 million population. I listen to rap music doesn’t determine a person I ride around in cars that cost more than your house while rap being played in them. Sounds to me like you were just raised super rich and are very judgemental in order to make yourself feel better. You have obviously never been to a big city other than Columbus
I left Columbus a few years ago to move to Cincinnati to live and so far it's great I love how parts of Cincinnati looks like NYC.
I don’t personally like Cincinnati idk I just feel like just because people say it’s bigger it doesn’t make it better in my opinion I use to live there and don’t get me wrong the only thing I like there is the stores other than that I’m not a huge fan of it Columbus is a big city too and it have a lot of opportunities in my opinion and it’s such a different vibe which I like I’m sorry just my own opinion 🤷🏽

I'll probably never live in Columbus again. Just the direction life is taking me. But I love this fucking city SO god damn much. I miss it so bad. If you can move here, I definitely recommend it. It's truly a wonderful place to live. Beautiful. Endless things to do. Great people.

A couple of startling shots in here, Tom. That top-down spin on the building with the curves was nifty (0:29). Going from the POI shot of the "we are stronger" bridge (2:32) speed-ramped to the shot of the city was unexpected but well done. The truck on the road at 3:02 gave you away, though. I completely get the idea of reversing the footage to keep the movement going in that direction, but it was funny to see the truck going backwards! :-) Interesting spin transition right into a speed ramp into the stadium at 3:51. Good work as usual, Tom.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think Cincinnati is the most impressive city in Ohio. It has completely turned itself around from a declining rust belt stereotype to a popular growing city, and it’s getting better every day. Columbus is a much newer city and never experienced the same industrial decline as a lot of other Midwestern cities. Credit where it’s due, Columbus is very nice, and Cleveland has been making a comeback in recent years. I still think the turnaround Cincinnati has made is amazing.

I’m not from Ohio, but I agree with you: Cincinnati is fantastic. Here in Wisconsin, we don’t have cities with that impressive skyline. Our capital, Madison, is beautiful (I love it). It doesn’t have skyscrapers because it can’t. Milwaukee (our largest city) is fine, but its skyline could do a little better. It’s not “terrible” but it’s not the greatest.

Yes sir and so far its been good to me I haven't felt home in a long time and here its just different different cultures like California but there's a difference in people here too...I am hoping soon I can get out and go for a walk with the dogs and just enjoy the day...this snow and everything else well you know I've gained my weight back lmbo and thats okay I am good with it its better then starving...thank you for replying

Colombus has so much potential for a bigger and more attractive skyline. It's an embarrassment to it's population right now.
I agree! I say this all the time! With being the 14th largest city in the United States with a metropolitan population of almost 3 million.
across the river from downtown (Franklinton) they're building a large district of condos, shops, offices and restaurants. Also they're putting up a high rise hotel in the short north right besides the convention center. I would hope they can bolster the skyline a bit and really make it have the feel a city of it's size should. Sorry for this useless stream of consciousness lol

As quiet as it's kept: America as a country is in the mist of a modernization like that of China. Plans of even a new high-speed rail system have been on the table since Trump: hopefully they make it happen in the next 4 years.

what drone were you using, and how do prevent your videos from getting grainy when you fly in the evening/at night?
First of all you have to have the drone with 1inch sensor camera... If you've got that then - right camera setting and little touch in the editing room and boom... There you go... I love those golden hours drone shots
@@TAPPChannel yeah I’ll have to invest in a better drone. Flying a mavic air 2 right now, and its camera just doesn’t work well at night. Probably gonna wait for the phantom 5 series.
@@TAPPChannel Yep on the 1" sensor. A Mavic 2 Pro, for example, has some startling quality at night.
