Worst wave of 2023 goes to…… It’s the Marvels wave. Captain Marvel, it’s a pretty generic figure. I only wanted to get it just for the head sculpt so I can put that head sculpt on the Endgame body mold. I’m just gonna wait for the second suit that she wore in the movie. Photon is a must have for the collection and Ms. Marvel is the worst figure of this wave. This wave is going to get a 4 out of 10. Very weak wave, overall very disappointing!
I liked The Marvels. Not a great movie, and it's pacing is off early on. But the movie is a lot of fun, and it's mainly because the three leads are so terrific together. It's the best writing and acting for MCU Carol so far. Makes her more sympathetic and three dimensional.
This wave sucked, if I wasnt in love with Teyonah Paris, Id have definitely skipped it…. Smh what a waste of plastic. Another Hulk BAF? Dumpster juice. At least we got a new villain
Sorry shartimus but I have to disagree on this one. While the costume designs might not have been as colorful as the first captain marvel movie figures, I still liked the designs. In fact, this captain marvel figure has already sold out twice at bigbadtoystore and at entertainment earth the monica rambeau and ms. marvel figures have also sold out. I hope hasbro releases the second suit of captain marvel from the Marvels along with other MCU figures through more Infinity Saga and Marvel Studios waves. I am tired of more wolverine and spiderman figures and don't plan on buying them for this year. There are still more MCU Iron man suits like the mark 5 and 6 and the mark 45 from Age of Ultron that hasbro can release. I am looking forward to the Ms. Marvel Warbird Carol Danvers figure for 2024, the Iron Man Heroes Reborn figure, a Secret Wars wave and the comic book Hulkbuster Iron Man armor figure.
Was the Karnak high kick inspired in the Marvel Puzzle Quest mobile game? I hope so LOL. I'd love to have that version of the character too. Saludos desde México!
I finally got a Karnak even if its not what I really wanted from him and added a Hulk to my Champions and Marvel Boy to my West Coast Avengers so I'm actually happier with this wave than average
My thing is the facesculpt/paint on the new Carol figure is better but I prefer the Endgame hairstyle. Doesn't seem like the easiest custom to make sadly
Bought the figs I needed to build TA Hulk, whom I have wanted in ML form for a while. Of the six, figures three are on shelf with other MCU figs, the other three are fodder for future customs.

I have Commander Steve Rogers, Karnak, and Marvel Boy only. Just not a fan of the MCU figures. Maybe one day i might finish Totally Awesome Hulk getting the pieces i need of Ebay.
I got Karnac cause we need some Inhumans.....I want to pick up Photon cause I like the character going back to Wandavision and I like the A force version I'm happy enough with the last Ms. Marvel was going to skip the rest bur after seeing this I might grab Captain Marvel too that head sculpt looks better than the other options on my shelf for sure.....kinda a crappie wave but great review as always man...
this wave has been a massive pass because not only do i consider it the worst of 2023, but none of the figures impress me at all, not even the movie ones.
Yup mediocre wave. I disagree about the eternals being the worst mcu movie. It's actually not as bad as most people make it to be. Is it great? Of course not, but imo there's more interesting things going on in it than a lot of other mcu product. I claim Thor love and thunder as the worst mcu movie. That piece of shit was embarrassing to watch. The only cool thing about it was Christian bale, but not enough to save it. They gave him such a terrible script to play. Feel kinda sorry for him. Honestly antman quantumania might be worse than the eternals as well. It should have been great, but ended up being a great letdown. Captain Marvel might be worse than the eternals as well. Haven't seen the 2nd one yet. Funny how after all these years thor the dark world isn't the worst mcu movie anymore.
