Thank you for this! My first job was as 'Galley Boy' at 16 on the M.V. DORIC FERRY ( Transport Ferry Services) back in 1973! I often wonder how different my life would have been if we hadn't taken a Squadron of RAF Regiment from Felixstowe to Europoort,Rotterdam.I signed on in the RAF on my next week off!
Fascinating to be aboard and to see the engines and other systems. So few people (at least here) ever think about these people and ships that carry so much of what we see on our markets.
