Whiskey sour gets you off to a great start. Egg white is a must. I prefer a high rye bourbon, but rye is fine. Always muddle, if for no other reason than you get to say the word muddle. Wee Pearl's recipe for orgeat is a good one. Mmm, an old fashioned. This is the one I like using rye. Great video. Ok, variation for Odin. Sub some bacon and cheddar for the hot dogs. And congrats on the 1000. Someday I hope to get there.
Serving whiskey sours straight up is great craic! No watery finish when the cocktails mostly gone which is great. Big congrats on reaching such a major milestone Rob!
Jungle bird is probably 6 or 7... although last summer I tried a bitter Mai Tai (seen on educated barfly) which is basically a Mai Tai with 3/4 oz of Campari and I think for me, it slightly beats the jungle bird
