The other line that I also could relate to was "the rise and fall of Mary Ellen's hairdo". My daughter, Mary Ellen, took the sizzors to her hair about the time I started listening to this C.D., lol. Also, their's a book I read by Greg Bear, "The forge of God". And There is a part in that book that talks about the entire east coast being blown up. Ironic.
