that's what smart players should be doing. This is a 5v5 game after all. Even though top was losing badly, aatrox had to rely on his teammates and do the best he can. Probably if I was aatrox, I would have rushed a defensive item first, just to be able to hold Irelia as much as possible. There's too many players who have a childlike mindset, probably because they're actually still teenagers, who have a bad early game and start surrendering and stop trying, making it more difficult for teammates even though there is still a good chance of winning.

I think it would be cool if you did VOD reviews of some silver/gold/plat jungs or even your own every once in a while and call out "bad" decisions and explain why they are bad. Seeing someone do all the correct plays, like Mr. Broxah, is nice, but being able to go more in depth why they are good/bad would be really educational.

I'm very glad Broxah has decided to be a pro player. I also don't tilt in games, but what matters here is that in every video, I can see his little things that make him better than other players. It is quite true, that coaching for league is sad to be a thing honestly. It's not worth it, unless it's for a org. You can quite literally become at least D4-Master player, just by watching Broxah, even if you're a silver currently. It just takes a little bit of time to focus on your gameplay and improvement to become a good player.
Clean game Mr Broxah. Regarding the coaching, i agree that your content is very educational and anyone the that is serious can improve by themself if they have learned how to learn and improve on themselves which i think is a general life skill which can also be applied to league. But also the reasons one might want to get coaching can be manyfold. You would be surprised how many people crave personal attention and struggle to put a foot forward by themself. Its the same reason that the lifecoach business is booming. However if you ever decided to do a coaching lesson i think that it would make for great content.
i can definitely say that after watching your videos regularly i've improved at league substantially without even increasing my play time. and i'm not even a jungler, i'm a laner. thank you mr broxah, you're someone to look up to in this community
It's actually a match-up problem though. Irelia is a massive Aatrox counter. If she ever gets hit by Aatrox W--which won't happen unless there are no minions---she can just W and negate a lot of his Q3 dmg--but she doesn't even have to do that, since she can just Q him and walk out the short end of Aatrox W. Not to mention her Q can fully counter his Q if minions exist--and she doesn't mind trading cooldowns since her Autos are way stronger than his. It's very difficult for Aatrox to play--and it gets worse if she gets any sort of help. Yes, Aatrox misplayed, but he's not helped by the matchup in the slightest. You can even see he's already screwed even before he first dies--she just gets to control the wave cause if he walks up he just gets engaged on.
I like his personal and objective opinion/thoughts about coaching, unlike most streamers who stream playing League for a living, but meanwhile being so salty and shaming those who coach playing League for a living.

Hey, I'm a coach. I certainly don't scam anyone. I've mostly charged 20 per hour (when I was starting, only 10) and I've seen my students benefit a lot from it. Some of them (it's true) never get better, but those that do, usually skip ranks and actually get a feel for the game. They don't have to struggle wondering what's going on or if they're right or wrong... I tell them. I once got a fresh new player and he felt like he learned so much, he left quite a big tip (considering what I charge).

The part about coaching is 100% legit. Most of the people that pay for coaching are fan boys… they’re not gonna get 1 ounce of knowledge from their “coaching” because they’re not really dedicating themselves to getting better at the game. If you really want to get better, set your ego aside and just watch and analyze videos. Listen to what these pro-players are saying and doing and implement that into your gameplay. You don’t need to pay a dime to any “coach”… no pro sports player is paying this “coach” to improve their game. They do it from studying film, and repetition, and trying new things that they aren’t skilled or familiar with.

Aatrox was clearly a good player and I think you're wrong for saying he's a worse player than the Irelia. Once she gets ahead, you know full well she is unstoppable for most laners, and her wave clear is insane. Aatrox just failed to get a lead against her, which is what you need or else she will utterly body you during laning phase with her superior wave control, you only have one shot to get that lead until she gets first back, after that, she's always a problem. I honestly believe she's too strong.
Not saying aatrox didn't have a bad game but i could see where irelia might've snowballed. 2nd kill on her top should've gone to aatrox but broxah took it instead. So instead of losing just a wave, he lost wave and trade kill gold. Against a irelia early game thats scary, She probably came back with a recurve and aatrox returns w nothing. that same wave that after kill, broxah decided to shove in after aatrox asked him to freeze because he wanted to extra gold to carry and thinking it wouldnt affect his wave state, however that made it so aatrox got frozen at irelias tower after a reset w nothing. So in theory a lot couldve been done top to help control irelia early game i dont think the full blame should be put on him.

The problem with coaching is that mistakes snowball in League. If you make mistakes at some point, especially early on, the rest of your game is shaped by those mistakes. Since a lot of coaching is done through feedback and critiques after the fact, a lot of advice about the mid- and late-game isn't going to be applicable to you because the mid- and late-game will look different if you improve your early-game, and the late-game will look different if you improve your mid-game. In other words, getting coached for an entire game isn't very helpful, and needlessly expensive. It only takes 5 minutes of gameplay to make 25 minutes of coaching largely irrelevant. The inverse is also true for players who can get through the early- and mid-game, but struggle late game. In that context, the portion of my gameplay that requires attention is still only a fraction of the amount of gameplay I'm paying the coach to give me feedback on. In this regard, even well-meaning coaches (if such people exist) are wasting their customers' time and money. Real-time coaching is particularly egregious. It would be much more efficient for a coach to review vods, find problematic areas where you can improve, and give you advice on how to do so. But since that isn't nearly as time-consuming, coaches wouldn't make very much money using this model.

I go Conqueror+alacrity Atck speed with free boots and item CDR I've also added Jarvan to my Jungle Pool recently and really got into the style fairly quickly Though there are severall builds you can go, guess we should always pick whatever is best accoridng to match up, but still would like to know what is "optimal" I have started with Eclipse. Eclipse with Fimblewinter is a really decent combo you get MASSIVE shield stacks from Eclipse, W skill and Fimble Now im runnin Goredrinker with the usual Black Cleaver, Steraks or MawMalmortious, Death's Dance, etc Broxah here picked Tiamat first, which i never do as i feel like Q and E gives enough clear. Though no doubt Tiamat makes it a lot faster. But is it worh it?

@schmorlov from previous videos I believe he alternates between the two depending on whether he's fed or trying to catch up. He'll take hydra to push an existing lead, otherwise he'll go goredrinker. That's my take on it, though I could be mistaken.

I get coached from a GM player (he got challenger in season 9 i think) for 30 bucks and it was way more beneficial for me than any content.

At 14:25 if you look the minimap you can see how Janna hits a vision plant. Vision on enemies/camps stay for a bit longer than on the terrain.

@schmorlov from previous videos I believe he alternates between the two depending on whether he's fed or trying to catch up. He'll take hydra to push an existing lead, otherwise he'll go goredrinker. That's my take on it, though I could be mistaken.
