Hi, thanks for this unboxing and layout video! Just wondering exactly how many straight tracks you used overall and how many curved tracks? Hoping to do a small graduated up and over to lay under the tree.
Your welcome and thank you. If you are trying to do the same what I did with graduated trestle (the figure 8). It took me: 9 x curve O36 fastrack & 11-12 x 10" straight fastrack. Enjoy and have fun with your graduated trestle.
Lionel's graduated trestle set is pricey for the set but they look very beautiful and realistic. It is flimsy and if not handled with care, the metal bar that connects the trestles are very sharp and will cut your fingers, as it did to me twice last year 2020 during assembling even being very careful . Moreover very recently ,in 2021, 2 weeks ago, it cut me too deep that i had to go to urgent care and got 5 stitches to my little finger. So handle it, with care. But at the end, they look beautiful to me and i still enjoy them watching.
@@jbrothers00 Sorry for the delayed response I tried to respond yesterday However TH-cam erased my comment. Thanks for taking time out to explain the Trestle And how dangerous they are.Sorry about your finger .I have to build an elevation I might use the Trestle or might build my own.Feel free to stop by my channel.CHEERS 👍
Yes . You are right, they are pricey. On the other hand, their polar express train set is well made and very reliable for the price. And I hoped the same quality to the trestle set, when I bought it. But, I found the Lionel's trestle set was very pricey for what I got. Even though, Trestle looks very beautiful and realistic. It is very flimsy, if not handled with care. Moreover, the metal parts of the trestles are very sharp and I cut my fingers twice during assembling even being very careful . Furthermore, when I try to disassemble it for storage, I almost broke one. Thankfully it is still good and useable.
Great video! Like the music and camera angles… thanks for sharing
Thank you and Really appreciate your encouragement
I wasn't really interested in getting these myself but after seeing many videos of these I now seem interested in getting some myself.
i hope you will like it
Beautiful layout you have there. I’m curious as to how did you secure the trestles to the floor. Could you please share that. Thank you.
Can u please make a video on how to connect all the hardware ?
love this layout. do you have an image of the layout. would want to apply the same to my home in the living room.
Did you also used the Lionel FasTrack Elevated Trestle Set along with the Graduated Trestle Set in this video?
I have to ask how much did that couch cost you it looks expensive.

@@OgaugeTrainsplusslotCars Sure!
Will one box b good for a starter set but with four more added ten inch straight? Ordered one today on Amazon
I think for me the FasTrack Graduated Trestle itself took approx. 15 x 10inch tracks including the straight and O36 curved track.
I need a set. These are pricey. Did they work well for you?

Yes, it is pricey and need quality control for that price.
Yes, it works very well for me, yet now.
