Hi Trevor. I love this series, and I feel you pain with the leads never holding up (along with many other aspects of this game).
One thing that has helped me recently is I have started controlling the slide when trying to steal bases and coming home. On the Xbox it is one of the bumper buttons (I forget which) along with the stick, and it lets you slide to the outside of the bag to try and avoid the tag. I think it helps sometimes.

Pretty sure mlb expanded the playoffs this year so it’s the top three wild card teams from AL and top three wild card teams from NL make it to postseason

Have you ever thought about simming multiple seasons so your videos could turn into achieving career milestones such as 3000 Carter hits or 500 homeruns? Could also bring in like free agency where you pick your team and stuff. Could be a nice change so the series has a new vibe to it. Just a thought. Keep doing great work.

i think they keep pinch hitting for you because your manager is set to play matchups. ie: righty vs lefty
You never take any bunts, play any squeezes or slide in to first base. I've made a lot of plays sliding in to first, especially when bunting. Only the top two wild-card teams advances, for a one-game playoff.
