Thrift stores have gotten really greedy with their prices. Soon it'll be cheaper to just go buy new. Love your videos!
Goodwill stores now even have their own brand! Their pricing on their own branded items is equal to or greater than Walmart in most cases!

I guess I should feel lucky, because we really do have some good thrift stores here in my area as you saw, but it also can be dangerous because they are all within a five mile radius from me! You shop just like me. my husband and I were watching you this morning on this video and I said Jim this is what I look like when I’m out shopping… just like this! this is exactly what I do and I’ve even gotten outside and gone back in before to get some thing I was regretting not picking up. So funny! And yes do some more of this! I have to say that here in middle Iowa we do not have that kind of stuff in our thrift stores or maybe I’m going to late in the day but you really got a treasure trove can’t wait to see What you do with everything :-)

I’m in East Central Iowa so I shop in Cedar Rapids (my home town), Waterloo ( where I live close to now) and occasionally Iowa City/Coralville and most times you don’t find much. And the Cedar Rapids and Waterloo are NEVER full of good stuff. Just sayin.

I could hardly breathe while you were deciding on the clock….lol! Isn’t it beautiful? I know this first hand because I bought it at Lowe’s at full price for $129, and I didn’t bat an eye because I had been literally looking for months to find just the right one! So glad you got it!
I have to tell you too that you have the best thrift shops I’ve ever seen.! Great stuff in every category. Might be good that the ones in my area don’t even come close because I ya terrible habit of buying things that I just love, but don’t necessarily have a place for. That 3 tiered table and that little chair in the first store is a good example of what I would’ve brought home without knowing where I was going to put them.
