- Installing and upgrading a new Alternator for my C10, swapping out my old battery with a new Redtop and changed my oil dipstick to my surprise.

You could easily change the "clock setting" on your new alternator so the plug would be in the alignment, if you wanted to.
do you know the part number for your alternator and how has it been holding up ever since? im looking to swap mine out i have a 1981 c10
Nice. Got it from summit racing (not sponsored) part number TFF-7127D12. Changed the one I had in there which I think was oem with 35amps, now upgraded to 100 amps. About 4k miles in daily driving, cold/heat/snow/rain, not a drop below 13-14V area while running/driving and battery charged. So far so good 😊
