Hey Amazing Shots Are Going To Do another Cinematic Tribute Edit by any chance because I Have Some terrific Ideas for your Next Tribute Edit That Will blow your mind apart
Love this tribute man, Denis happens to be my top 3 directors of all times. He is a master of slow-burning storytelling responsible for a plethora of accomplished tales of discovery, conflict and woe.
This. This is why fucking cinema. This is what we need. This is what we can produce. It’s what we can create, articulate, grasp in one instant, lose it in the next, and still ponder over the experience for the rest of our lives. A truly great film transcends everything perceive on a day-to-day basis. We’re allowed to free ourselves of any sense of ‘norms’, and simply just be. Pure existence, presence of mind, with no structure, code, or reason to interrupt us. Those three things come to us after the film, and very few can make a a mere two or three hours that last an eternity. Denis Villeneuve is one of those few. Great compilation, thank you for this
What I love about Denis is that he makes every shot count! Nothing in any scene is out of place or out of need. Everything you see on the screen is there for a reason. He is on his way to becoming a G.O.A.T and there's nothing that can stop him!
August 32nd on earth Maelstrom Polytechnic Incendies Prisoners Enemy Sicario Arrival Blade Runner 2049 Dune Part 1 (and the next second part) Denis Villeneuve is one of the most surprising directors of the last decades and he became my favorite director, along with Christopher Nolan (but it is not necessary to compare the two). A visionary of portraying human emotions with visually compelling images. From Quebec to now Hollywood.
A huge disservice for completely forgetting his first two films which truly deserved to be here at the end of the day they laid the groundwork for everything else. Excellent work though.

This'll be interesting… Absolutely love this channel. DV is one of my favourite directors of modern cinema! 'Dune' is a cinematic masterpiece ❤️
I agree with you, Dune is a great cinematography, but it also includes the Blade Runner 2049 that I also liked its futuristic style
I love the movie. But I think we should also mention that Dune is a masterpiece of science fiction literature.

You should do more amazing shots of more directors. I just found this channel and I really like it!
Amazing job putting this together. You can tell you put a lot of effort into the flow and content of each shot
1:10 was probably one of the best transition shots I've ever seen.
The transition is internal to two scenes in BR 2049, so give credit to DV there too!
That music from Arrival. It's really more sad than beautiful. 🥺☹️😢😟😔😞

That Radiohead song caught me off guard
