I remember joining a pack of lizards in Outer Expanse one time as a slugcat, which consisted of a white lizard, cyan l lizard that looked exactly like the one in the video, and I believe a blue lizard. We even ended up going to the Slugtree, but I was really falling behind by the end, so either this is a huge coincidence or a huge coincidence of a different kind, lol.
this mod is so much fun, i remember i once joined this group of slugcats as a noodlefly. we went from outskirts to the wall to sky islands and nearly to lttm before i ended up crashing
Man, it's crazy seeing Rain Meadow out in the workshop and seeing it so common in content now! It's been in development for a while and I didn't think it'd be so soon that it'd be something more than a niche mid with a small(ish) community where you had to be invited to to get the mod and download it manually I haven't done much playing in public lobbies, but on Halloween since I was feeling down because of not doing anything for the holiday, a friend and I played in meadow that day, them changing between different lizards, and me as a scavenger We played for over SIX hours, and it was SO MUCH FUN considering I hadn't made much progress at all in story, we explored many areas I've never been, including going to LTTM and even down to the void sea to see if any sort of ending would be triggered (I shall leave it to you guys to discover if something happens yourself :3c) Even if things aren't exactly as they are in the main game, it was amazing to see those things for the first time with a close friend The only problems we had were on my end, my wifi shutting off once and my old ass laptop not liking heavy effects and lagging to hell and back; no problems on the mod's end The mod is an amazing piece of art from the community, and even though I hadn't been around to see the development from the start, it's crazy what they've done in the time I've known the mod! It'll take me a long while still to get used to seeing all these videos about Rain Meadow XD but I'm so glad it's to a wider audience now, it deserves the love!!
@@newden-dinimation7120 if you continue to unlock things by collecting the red, blue and yellow transmissions in meadow, eventually you unlock the lizard.
I've been playing Rainworld daily cause of this. I don't really play the Meadow mode much but I remember one time where I'm on a mission of collecting and finding as many tokens as I can and then three slugcats just started following me. I don't know what's happening so I just went with it and we've made it to Garbage Waste before I had to leave because my laptop is low on battery.
This Mod is absolutely wonderful, but needs more tweaks so all species can play and vibe without getting stuck or trapped. No matter how hard you try, Scavenger Players are incapable of getting above the waterfall-undertow physics in the lower areas of Shoreline for example, while Noodlefly Players will consistently struggle with getting through room-connectors (those three-lined vertical marker thingys, if you know what their actual name is, please reply to this comment!) on the rooves of rooms. If you play as a Slugcat or a Lizard, you're generally not going to encounter these issues. I do hope they add more species, though! Vultures and Rain Deer would be RAD.
i hope they add creatures in story mode / text chat in meadow mode tbh. It's been a real bummer realizing my most hyped reasons to want Rain Meadow were completely incompatible with eachother. (playable creatures, chat + online internet coop)
@@Darkspinesupersonic8Hell nah I hope they keep meadow mode chat free. The unique communication system is a homage to its inspiration and part of what makes the game mode so interesting and wholesome.
I know this sounds weird but it’s a nature game and it’s natural but what if when 2 slugcats have been near eatchother for many cycles people get slugpup spawning capability and spawn where one of those 2 slugcats is (call me weird all you want but it’s just a opinion and I think it makes sense because of how you know they’re natural creatures in a rage game about being creatures) (Also criticism is accepted)

How do you avoid getting crashed when playing as a lizard?
luck
They'll fix it eventually, its such a recent mod

The game will crash, even with no mods on. =P It's part of the Rain World experience!

Also, omg, FaerieOak! I've seen them in a couple of Meadow experiences this last weekend. YAY!

Advrage creature experience
Has anybody else not been finding any tokens recently? I can't really get any characters, skins or emotes and it's a bit odd
big lobbies have less of a chance of spawning collectibles and echoes, that could be why

@fafuo i believe its to reduce server lag and stuff so there isn't more crashes. btw your welcome!
