Hi buddy it's been a long time since you don't upload videos. Could you make a video about how to connect the defroster? My W123 has a defroster but I don't know what's wrong with it because every time I wanna use it.... It doesn't work. When I press the button the light turns on and that means that the button is not broken but the rear windshield doesn't show any signal that is working because when it rains I can't see nothing. Do you know what I can doin these casses? I hope to see you back in another video you've helped me a lot these years because I'm too young and have my W123 as my first car so I've been changing some parts and putting new ones so you have been a great help.
Thank you for your comment. The reason I have not made any videos is because I had an accident and have my leg in plaster. I hope to be able to resume soon. For the defroster, first I would look at the fuses, Secondly I would remove the C pillars and make sure the rear windshield is connected properly. If everything is correct then you have an electrical problem somewhere. If you know how to trace cables... Good, if not, it will be best to see an auto electricians

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately my W123 vehicles are manual so I cannot answer you. Usually it is fitted on the gear selector or the gearbox itself
If you can just remove the cover, it is that yours is BROKEN, maybe this is why you look at these videos to repair the mess you have done BEFORE, for not doing "a huge work" 🤦🏻♂️

Hi I got a problem with my switch but it’s on an automatic gearbox!!! Any advice ?

I have the same problem with my w123 230E. No reverse lights on. What i have seen this safety neutral position switch is on the gearbox..
