Sansui AU 4900 Complete restoration

At this video, you can see a complete restoration of a Sansui AU 4900. I changed all capacitors ( nichicon for all signal path & panansonic for power supply) and all transistor ( except final transistor that are genuine)
It sounds wonderfull!!!!!
It is now on sale at ebay! (SOLD IT!!!)

How anyone does this kind of work is beyond me. How to keep it all straight and get it back together? Not to mention the initial design and construction of these amps. And then you consider the sheer number of models Sansui and others made throughout the 70’s. It’s truly mind boggling. Good job!

If i were you, i would increase the capacitance of the smoothing capacitors and add a soft-start circuit to the power supply section. But that's just me...
