It is widely accepted out-of-verse that RCT can not "heal" Idle Transfiguration. If Mahito activates a .2sec Domain Expansion, whatever gets affected on Hakari is just deformed forever whether he lops it off or not. Hakari's Domain, however, is faster than Mahito's and if they do end up getting in a Domain battle Hakari absolutely stomps. Edit: For those of you who are skeptical about IT forever deforming Todo's hand, ask yourselves why he claims his technique is gone forever? Recently, Hakari lost his left arm yet claims he can get it back with outside help.
No, toudou cut his own hand to stop it being deformed. There's still the possibility toudou can regain his hand with a RCT from Yuuta for example, since he himself cut the idle transfiguration.

For reference Miwa is someone who can utilize simple domain, so why would people like Nobara, Nanamin, and other first grades not utilize the technique? Comparing the Yuji that was fighting Mahito to the Yuji that was letting Hakari hit him for free is pretty wild. Hakari is decently strong in base, but you can’t use a Yuji that isn’t fighting back to make a comparison to Mahito. Also Mahito’s CT is the direct counter to Hakari, since his RCT can’t heal it. So the second Mahito touches him anywhere or uses the 0.2 DE, Hakari is done. Cutting off your arm doesn’t stop the soul damage, that just stops the IT from spreading. And losing a hand means Hakari becomes useless.

But hakari cannot attack the soul. There have been no indications that hakari could see or notice it. Yeah, he could instinctively heal and defend his own when he is attacked, but he can't attack mahitos soul so unless he could gain the ability to do that, I think mahito got this fight

Second of all, there's nothing to suggest that IT's effectiveness depends on how much CE the target has. Also, Mahito can literally just maintain his distance, Hakari can't do crap outside of close range. The fact that his fight with Uraume is a stalemate proves this.

Mahito needs four hands to use his DE (look at his mouth), hakari only needs 2, therefore Hakari is more skilled in using DE than Mahito, especially since Hakari's DE isnt even a sure hit attack which means it's easier to pull off and refine
People keep downplaying Mahito's Idle Transfiguration when that was literally the reason why Kenjaku was raising him. It's a powerful, broken technique that requires knowledge of the soul to even begin to fight against. Nanami being able to defend against IT one time was clearly a fluke. Mahito was just playing around during that fight and it actually says more about Nanami having a very strong sense of self than anything else. Having very few people actually able to deal with Mahito is what makes Mahito a threat, otherwise he wouldn't even be able to hang around the disaster curses. Hakari is a beast but unless his barbed wire CE is a hint that he has knowledge of the soul, he can't hurt Mahito and is one IT away from losing.
Fr and the guy was talking about hakari just healing his arm but mahitos idle transfiguration attacks the soul as well so even if he did try to heal it, it would still be a deformed transfigured arm and hakari doesn’t mention souls in anyway or seem to know about them so there’s no way he could defend against mahitos attacks like nanami did (not to mention he only defended himself against 1 attack) or actually hurt him
In addition to that, that was mahito's first real fight, and he clearly doesn't have full grasp of he's own ability at that time. There's no garuntee anyone could repeat what nanami managed in that first fight.

As much as I agree, it would only be if Hakari was on Jack pot mode before Mahito starts his own domain. If Mahito hits base form Hakari with a .2 second domain, either they’d have to enter a domain clash in which they’d both run out of cursed energy. And if Hakari isn’t able to react to it, even if he has to cut off his own arm he’s fucked. First off, reverse cursed technique can’t heal from idle transfiguration and second of all, Hakari won’t be able to do the Mudras necessary to unleash his own domain and heal up. This literally happened in the end of the fight with Kashimo.

Hakari's domain is faster than Mahito's tho. The moment Mahito decides to whip his domain, Hakari can lay his own domain to counter and because Hakari's domain is faster, there's a decent chance that it might lay out faster than Mahito's domain thus making it useless.

Hakari from what we’ve seen doesn’t have the de or actual means to kill Mahito. I’d argue Hakari has a higher chance of losing a battle of attrition because his domain isn’t 100% guaranteed. Ppl always seems to forgot about that. While Mahito from what we’ve can constantly use idle transfiguration.
shoko and gojo both reaffirmed this in the shabuya ark and the culling games that idele Transfiguration could NOT be healed. All your examples of people who fought him are everybody who got touched. a better argument you could have made would be using hakaris pesudo roll which reverts his body back to when he first opened the domain that could be a loophole since it is a effect rather the a passive Tanique.
It is directly stated that idle transfiguration can not be regenerated from as it damages the soul. It was directly said that idle transfiguration victims are better off dying if the git hit by it. Todo cut of his hand so that his entire body wouldn’t deform. Damage done by idle transfig is beyond healing. Idk about todo because technically he cut his own hand off. Plus you have to remember that Mahito had created a clone of himself to fight Nobara and was STILL slaughtering yuji. He was under stress and yuji needed a black flash + todo to get him weakened enough ti be absorbed by kenjaku. It took nobara todo AND yuji to beat him. Plus before yuji showed up mahito deployed transfigured humans who were strong enough to severely injure nanami. So he was already using a good amount of cursed energy to deploy all those humans as if they were all weak fodder nanami should have soloed them easily. So he was already weakened at least a little bit. Then he creates a grade 3 sorcerer clone to clash with nobara. And nobara at this point may be stronger then grade 3 and actually is as her and yuji near the beginning of the series we’re able to match up against special grade curse wombs so her power is at least like grade 2 and maybe semi grade 1 as all of the cast had been training and evolving since then so you could even put her above that but that is high speculation but she is for sure grade 2 to semi grade 1. So mahito created a clone that was grade 2 to semi grade 1 as the copy was able to put up a pretty good fight against someone grade 2 to semi grade 1. So he made a clone that strong, made idle transfigured humans strong enough, together to injury a grade 1 sorcerer pretty badly. Then after all that stress and curse energy usage fights nobara and yuji together wear he kills nobara with his technique THEN he faces ANOTHER grade 1 plus yuji and they, together were only able to weaken him pretty severely and then kenjaku took care of the rest. He scales WAAYYYY above yuji todo and nanami 1 on 1 and it was stated that even though nanami was able to subconsciously protect his soul mahito, who knows the most about souls says that it would take only a few more hits to break that protection. And hakari is going on a big IF because if he doesn’t hit a jackpot he is not beating mahito. Plus we know mahito is a whole nother level of prodigy as in around 5 months. (I don’t want to explain the time stuff just research yourself) he went from getting jumped by a weaker yuji and nanami and nearly dying to now being easily able to take nanami. And in the middle of the fight he reached a new form and when pushed to the limit always evolved. He evolved vs nanami and yuji to us domain expansion which he was stated by nanami to in human time be an infant when he had a COMPLETE domain. And then he evolved to make clones and reach that new form by editing his own soul. Hakari is not stated anywhere to know anything about souls and you need to understand souls to defend yourself. Nanami who defended himself had already fought nanami once and understands his technique. With no knowledge only a jackpot Hikari could protect his soul without any knowledge and even then it would only take a few blows to break the protection. And mahito WOULD evolve its in bud nature that’s what he has done the whole series. So hakari hitting jackpot is the only way he has a chance at beating mahito. It doesn’t matter how much damage you do to mahito because if you can’t damage his soul (which there is NO proof that hakari even in jackpot can) you can’t damage him. You would have to wait for him to run out of CE and after everything I just said you could infer he has a lot of CE. And the 4 minutes and whatever seconds that jackpot lasts isn’t enough to wear him down. And there is still a chance he doesn’t hit jackpot. Mahito wins this with high diff at most 😹
Actually With Domain Amplification you can bypass your opponents Cursed Technique even if hakari hasnt been shown to have it almost everyone with a complete domain does (Kenjaku, Sukuna, Gojo, Higaruma, Mahito, Jogo, Hanami, Yuta, Yorozu) so who's to say Hakari doesnt have one
Idle transfiguration hits the soul, a 0.2 second domain would inhibit RCT, so if Mahito could drag the fight on for a long time he technically could win (yet it's still a slim chance, Like 2% or something)
It's only aslong as he has cursed energy. He isn't immune to physical attacks he just can manipulate his soul so it doesn't matter. Thats why you either have to run him out of cursed energy or kill him in one hit. Nanami says this.

If mahito uses his domain of 0.2 sec before hakari uses his domain then it's over for hakari. 4. Hakari can't damage mahito soul. So hakari punches won't work on mahito. 5. RCT can't heal idle transfiguration.

In my opinion, Hakari is the only one out of the 3 strongest jujutsu high students that Mahito can take down more often than not and that is mainly because unlike Yuta who has a naturally High reserve, multiple CE's, RCT he can use on others, Rika, and Maki with a Soul split Katana, a sort of PreCog, Consistently higher Stats, and a body that can possibly Reject Mahito's IT. Hakari only has his Barely Higher than Yuji base stat and a really nasty Domain.

Hakari wouldn't be able to heal from an Idle Transfiguration since the attack affects the soul, not the body. Hakari would still win though, his pool of cursed energy while hitting a Jackpot would render Idle Transfiguration useless.
Except that isn’t necessarily how it works. Even if it was, jackpot and his DE can’t be combined, so Mahito would just pull him into Self Embodyment and wait until jackpot runs out, then one-touch him
Hakari is definitely one of the strongest of the verse. Especially in his jack pot, I mean if he's fast enough, even Sukuna or Gojo could fall to him, especially if it's stacked. Before anyone goes after me, Gojo would probably speed blitz Hikari before he gets the chance, and Sukuna would probably do the same since he is smart enough to understand what the cirse technique is being used. Hakari has 0 way of damaging Mahito’s soul & it’s already been confirmed that even Sukuna wouldn’t be able to reverse Mahito’s technique. Yes Hakari has the C.E reserves & battle sense to make it a good fight, but people downplay how much of a menace Mahito was. We saw Jogoat blitz 3 characters & still the three disaster curses acknowledged Mahito has the best potential of them all. Hakari is one of my favorite characters but this is an extremely misinformed video.

Okay but here's the thing, if Mahito had won his fight against Yuji and was able to rest back up to 100% with his power he gained from that battle he would scale way higher in any combat scenario. You have to think 40% Mahito with said boosts was pretty handily able to take on 100% Todo with assistance from Yuji who could naturally hurt his soul who has been stated to be able to at least challenge Yuji and Hakari to some extent. Also, it's never stated that Mahitos soul needing to be damaged has any connection to his Cursed Technique being available or not, it's just an innate thing he uniquely has as part of his existence. Also, are we really going to try arguing Hakari's Domain is more refined than Mahitos on top of all of that? So, without a way to kill Mahito plus Mahitos rate of growth, Mahito could easily start to overtake Hakari at some point either physically or via Domain Expansion. It is widely accepted out-of-verse that RCT can not "heal" Idle Transfiguration. If Mahito activates a .2sec Domain Expansion, whatever gets affected on Hakari is just deformed forever whether he lops it off or not. Hakari's Domain, however, is faster than Mahito's and if they do end up getting in a Domain battle Hakari absolutely stomps.

Further, if Mahito’s technique could be simple domain’d, half of the death’s in Shibuya shouldn’t have happened. For reference Miwa is someone who can utilize simple domain, so why would people like Nobara, Nanamin, and other first grades not utilize the technique? Reinforcing ones soul and the use of Simple Domain have to be different, otherwise it wouldn’t make sense why Mahito was a threat. I’m gonna concede that this fact doesn’t make sense, as there are a lot of holes in Gege’s writing, but that is at least how I see it.
I am a Hakari fan, but Idle Transfiguration is among the S tier C.T’s in this verse. Even if we allow Hakari to somehow find a way to adapt to I.T through constantly reinforcing his soul with his own bottomless cursed energy thanks to his Domain, he doesn’t have a way to damage the soul.
Now if he learned both these factors, of course he could win, but with those arguments we enter an endless debate of what if. I am sure Hakari has the potential to overcome Mahito if it happened, but if we take things we have seen/know to be fact about the characters, Mahito wins this. Med/High diff.

Comparing the Yuji that was fighting Mahito to the Yuji that was letting Hakari hit him for free is pretty wild. Hakari is decently strong in base, but you can’t use a Yuji that isn’t fighting back to make a comparison to Mahito. Also Mahito’s CT is the direct counter to Hakari, since his RCT can’t heal it. So the second Mahito touches him anywhere or uses the 0.2 DE, Hakari is done. Cutting off your arm doesn’t stop the soul damage, that just stops the IT from spreading. And losing a hand means Hakari becomes useless.

People keep downplaying Mahito's Idle Transfiguration when that was literally the reason why Kenjaku was raising him. It's a powerful, broken technique that requires knowledge of the soul to even begin to fight against.
Nanami being able to defend against IT one time was clearly a fluke. Mahito was just playing around during that fight and it actually says more about Nanami having a very strong sense of self than anything else. Having very few people actually able to deal with Mahito is what makes Mahito a threat, otherwise he wouldn't even be able to hang around the disaster curses.
Hakari is a beast but unless his barbed wire CE is a hint that he has knowledge of the soul, he can't hurt Mahito and is one IT away from losing.

First off, reverse cursed technique can’t heal from idle transfiguration and second of all, Hakari won’t be able to do the Mudras necessary to unleash his own domain and heal up. Small reminder that mahito expansion could work against hakari, is very very likely that todo only got his arm hit because his simple domain protected him against the 0.2 domain, mahito would use a longer domain against hakari who may not even have a simple domain
Hakari's domain is faster than Mahito's tho. The moment Mahito decides to whip his domain, Hakari can lay his own domain to counter and because Hakari's domain is faster, there's a decent chance that it might lay out faster than Mahito's domain thus making it useless.

Hakari from what we’ve seen doesn’t have the de or actual means to kill Mahito. I’d argue Hakari has a higher chance of losing a battle of attrition because his domain isn’t 100% guaranteed. Ppl always seems to forgot about that. While Mahito from what we’ve can constantly use idle transfiguration.

It is directly stated that idle transfiguration can not be regenerated from as it damages the soul. It was directly said that idle transfiguration victims are better off dying if the git hit by it. Todo cut of his hand so that his entire body wouldn’t deform. Damage done by idle transfig is beyond healing. Idk about todo because technically he cut his own hand off. Plus you have to remember that Mahito had created a clone of himself to fight Nobara and was STILL slaughtering yuji. He was under stress and yuji needed a black flash + todo to get him weakened enough ti be absorbed by kenjaku. It took nobara todo AND yuji to beat him. Plus before yuji showed up mahito deployed transfigured humans who were strong enough to severely injure nanami. So he was already using a good amount of cursed energy to deploy all those humans as if they were all weak fodder nanami should have soloed them easily. So he was already weakened at least a little bit. Then he creates a grade 3 sorcerer clone to clash with nobara. And nobara at this point may be stronger then grade 3 and actually is as her and yuji near the beginning of the series we’re able to match up against special grade curse wombs so her power is at least like grade 2 and maybe semi grade 1 as all of the cast had been training and evolving since then so you could even put her above that but that is high speculation but she is for sure grade 2 to semi grade 1. So mahito created a clone that was grade 2 to semi grade 1 as the copy was able to put up a pretty good fight against someone grade 2 to semi grade 1. So he made a clone that strong, made idle transfigured humans strong enough, together to injury a grade 1 sorcerer pretty badly. Then after all that stress and curse energy usage fights nobara and yuji together wear he kills nobara with his technique THEN he faces ANOTHER grade 1 plus yuji and they, together were only able to weaken him pretty severely and then kenjaku took care of the rest. He scales WAAYYYY above yuji todo and nanami 1 on 1 and it was stated that even though nanami was able to subconsciously protect his soul mahito, who knows the most about souls says that it would take only a few more hits to break that protection. And hakari is going on a big IF because if he doesn’t hit a jackpot he is not beating mahito. Plus we know mahito is a whole nother level of prodigy as in around 5 months. (I don’t want to explain the time stuff just research yourself) he went from getting jumped by a weaker yuji and nanami and nearly dying to now being easily able to take nanami. And in the middle of the fight he reached a new form and when pushed to the limit always evolved. He evolved vs nanami and yuji to us domain expansion which he was stated by nanami to in human time be an infant when he had a COMPLETE domain. And then he evolved to make clones and reach that new form by editing his own soul. Hakari is not stated anywhere to know anything about souls and you need to understand souls to defend yourself. Nanami who defended himself had already fought nanami once and understands his technique. With no knowledge only a jackpot Hikari could protect his soul without any knowledge and even then it would only take a few blows to break the protection. And mahito WOULD evolve its in bud nature that’s what he has done the whole series. So hakari hitting jackpot is the only way he has a chance at beating mahito. It doesn’t matter how much damage you do to mahito because if you can’t damage his soul (which there is NO proof that hakari even in jackpot can) you can’t damage him. You would have to wait for him to run out of CE and after everything I just said you could infer he has a lot of CE. And the 4 minutes and whatever seconds that jackpot lasts isn’t enough to wear him down. And there is still a chance he doesn’t hit jackpot. Mahito wins this with high diff at most 😹

In my opinion, Hakari is the only one out of the 3 strongest jujutsu high students that Mahito can take down more often than not and that is mainly because unlike Yuta who has a naturally High reserve, multiple CE's, RCT he can use on others, Rika, and Maki with a Soul split Katana, a sort of PreCog, Consistently higher Stats, and a body that can possibly Reject Mahito's IT. Hakari only has his Barely Higher than Yuji base stat and a really nasty Domain.

Hakari wouldn't be able to heal from an Idle Transfiguration since the attack affects the soul, not the body. Hakari would still win though, his pool of cursed energy while hitting a Jackpot would render Idle Transfiguration useless.
Except that isn’t necessarily how it works. Even if it was, jackpot and his DE can’t be combined, so Mahito would just pull him into Self Embodyment and wait until jackpot runs out, then one-touch him

Hakari is definitely one of the strongest of the verse. Especially in his jack pot, I mean if he's fast enough, even Sukuna or Gojo could fall to him, especially if it's stacked. Before anyone goes after me, Gojo would probably speed blitz Hikari before he gets the chance, and Sukuna would probably do the same since he is smart enough to understand what the cirse technique is being used. Though for Sukuna, he'd probably would have to speedblitz him before he gets the 2nd jackpot and survive the 1st one.

Hakari has 0 way of damaging Mahito’s soul & it’s already been confirmed that even Sukuna wouldn’t be able to reverse Mahito’s technique. Yes Hakari has the C.E reserves & battle sense to make it a good fight, but people downplay how much of a menace Mahito was. We saw Jogoat blitz 3 characters & still the three disaster curses acknowledged Mahito has the best potential of them all.

Okay but here's the thing, if Mahito had won his fight against Yuji and was able to rest back up to 100% with his power he gained from that battle he would scale way higher in any combat scenario. You have to think 40% Mahito with said boosts was pretty handily able to take on 100% Todo with assistance from Yuji who could naturally hurt his soul who has been stated to be able to at least challenge Yuji and Hakari to some extent.
Also, it's never stated that Mahitos soul needing to be damaged has any connection to his Cursed Technique being available or not, it's just an innate thing he uniquely has as part of his existence.

So, without a way to kill Mahito plus Mahitos rate of growth, Mahito could easily start to overtake Hakari at some point either physically or via Domain Expansion.
I really hate how people low ball Mahito, especially when his strongest form was only ever used when he was basically out of energy, and what that form at 100% could end up looking like power-wise as such, alongside the misinterpretation of how his abilities work as well as him having a huge ability to grow innately through battle similar to how Saiyans in Dragon Ball do.
