Nightrain was actually a cheap alcoholic drink that G'n'R would drink in the early days as it was... errr cheap... And strong.
$1.00 a Pint and $2.00 a Quart! It was called "Wine".. But I have never had a wine fuck me up like that stuff did!!

@@belaradics6088 well it wasn't spirit strength but it was stronger than beer 5% strength type stuff. I think you would call it a fortified wine. So strong is a relative term.
@@OblivionGate thats why it was sold as a "wine"...the range up 12% by volume if I remember..it was strong enough to ruin the next day for you if dranks enough.. I did drink enough to know....lol

Hey, I first saw GNR in 1991 at Charlotte North Carolina, then in 2017 at Durham N.C. Enjoyed your reaction.
The Tokio Shows...Axl was facing major voice problems in that period. Still he was trying hard as always. It was really hard for him to sing and he hurt his voice for life after that tour.

I was on the night train I love that stuff I was on the night train I couldn’t get enough on the night train ready to crash and burn I never learn…it’s 19% alcohol Night Train wine, I got clean & sober in 1994 and I met Duff bass layer for GnR 1995 at an annual sober musicians picnic, he signed my court card with his autograph to my daughter Sommer 😘 also met Slash a few years later when he got sober at that same musicians picnic…a lot of sober famous musicians would meet yearly and play in Topanga Canyon
