Amidst lock-down ,its really a treat to have such enriching videos at your disposal.I can't thank enough this platform for their contribution towards the students and their career. Moreover i like the concept of exploring the different roles out there in adequate details.I know its harsh/crude but yes it would be really splendid if we are given an idea regarding the pay brackets someone should expect in these roles(Ya i know it varies, that's why i mentioned IDEA! ) Looking forward for more such videos :-)

I would like to know how much of the technical skills like the coding aspects will be part of the product manager role? What expertise of coding knowledge is required for a product manager?
Hey iam working in the product management side. You don't need to know coding, but it will be an advantage bcoz you have to manage a team of devs. Some basic understanding of the jargons will be good to go!
@@muhammedhashir8157 Hey there, Can you please tell me what are the qualities or prerequisite companies look for in a candidate for a product management role?
But do recruiters at ISB prefer students with higher work ex more and folks with less wrok ex (especially coming in from ylp) usually are at disadvantage?
YLP is just a mode of entry into ISB’s PGP program. Once you are at ISB, nobody discriminates between YLP / EEO and other candidates. Each recruiter looks for the “Best fit” for the role in question and does not really care whether you were a YLP applicant or not.
ISB just doesn't look at your score, but your entire profile, leadership potential, clarity of goals etc. for shortlisting a candidate. However, the average GMAT at ISB is around 710 in case you want a target score
