    Awesome job. I'm looking at purchasing a 73 Albin Vega here in Montana to sail on Flathead Lake next summer.
    Cheers,
    Bugs

    Well done. All the critical information, and well presented. Not familiar with the music, but thoroughly enjoyed it.👍

    Really cool project and they look great, for added security, I would put some skateboard tape on the the tread of the step. New subscriber here, hoping you come up with some more cool related boat projects, Cheers

    Great idea. I priced steps out on Amazon, cheapest i could find was $18.98 each.
    Saves a tonn of cash. Thanks for the video.

    Hi James,
    Really good looking improvement for the Vega. You use stainless steel - why not aluminum?

    Nice job James. If you don't mind me asking what was the spacing between steps you used. I am going to be building a set myself. Thanks and fair winds.

      max was 14 inches but measured from first step to the top step where I put a pair of folding steps at a comfortable height at the head to tie in and work. divided evenly

      Christian Larsen thanks for the comment on the video! I am not a big fan of rivets so I drilled and tapped 2 top and 2 bottom

      Hey! thanks for watching and the comment! The Golden Hind IV is an Albin Vega 27. Great boat and extremely easy to sail! Definitely recommend the Vega or its big brother, the Ballad if you ever get back into sailing!

    Good job! I would not have painted them, though. I don't even know why mast are painted. They look like crap when the paint comes off.

    • @ALiquidLife
      @ALiquidLife  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely don't need to be painted but looks good on the white mast.

    hi do mast steps add windage or not?

    • @ALiquidLife
      @ALiquidLife  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't noticed any significant windage. you do need to watch the halyards
