    Also, I finally see someone using Exhaust Vectoring, I have the impression that relatively few people use this oc despite the fact that it is quite powerful, but what surprised me in your table is that you took aggressive ventilation and I suspect it's because of haz 6 and that you took a revolver for inspection crowd and not, for example, a coil gun with hellfire

      exhaust vectoring sees very little use because it's an overall slightly worse version of a little more oomph; the difference in damage between them is small to begin with, but oomph's faster spin-up makes t4 dmg a no-brainer (you could still take faster spin-up, but 0.1 sec spin-up is simply overkill) and as such actually surpasses exhaust vectoring in dps. taking t4a on exhaust is also an option, but the gun will take much longer to pick its accuracy back up and the slow spin-up will also majorly hinder the gun's combat capabilities.
      funnily enough, oomph also doesn't see much use because lead storm (the oc), despite the total obstruction in movement while shooting, is still mostly preferable. oomph is generally picked if gunner either needs more safety, really doesn't trust his team or doesn't have proper crowd control in his secondary (magic bullets on modded difficulties falls off sharply and it was used in this run as a challenge, since coilgun, even without hellfire, is so good it trivializes most missions)

    What is the point of making it harder with more bugs if you're also going to make it easier with crutch mods and the zipline damage reduction glitch?

      @@huge-gorilla Beacons on fossils that are already self-illuminated, the visual icon for born ready that already has an audio cue, and wallhacks on bug positions via damage numbers when they happen to wander near radiation crystals or suffer from your DoTs...

      ​@@literatemax you're fully entitled to your opinion, but i don't think it's a very popular one. the mods you're describing are commonly used quality of life mods which have little to no impact on one's ability to actually kill the bugs and win the mission. "wallhacks" for example, are mostly useless because A. i don't know what type of bug is taking damage, and B. i already know there's a shitload of bugs in the cave because of the difficulty i'm playing on. i use the brighter objects mod because i have poor eyesight and it helps a decent bit. i don't see an issue with the visual buff icons for stuff like born ready, because as you said "it has an audio cue", making the icons cosmetic.
