Serge Lutens Feminite du Bois - what does “feminine woods” even mean?

I misspoke - it originally launched in 1992, not 2002.
This version is from 2009, the perfumer is Christopher Sheldrake.
Another favourite from Serge Lutens, it’s Feminite du Bois. Cozy without being heavy.

Adoro esta fragancia desde que la conocí, cuando la comercializaba Shiseido. Tengo una botella de la colección antigua, y acabo de comprar otra de la moderna, que es la que tú muestras. Han bajado la calidad, la duración y la proyección. Es como si la hubieran diluido. Aún así, sigue siendo maravillosa. Espero que te encuentres mejor. Un cariñoso saludo desde España.

Hi Henna, I’ve been enjoying your reviews. I bought a bottle of FdB early in my fragrance journey. The cedar note was so strong that I ended up returning it. It was in the former packaging with the cream colored label. Sounds like this house has watered down their line. What a shame. Still, I am actively looking for Borneo 1834 since your review. I wish I had picked it up before they pulled out of the US. The new packing seems ungainly and unattractive IMO. I am glad that 😮you are enjoying FdB in any case. I hope you feel much better very soon.
