I made Winnie in bernat baby blanket and she’s absolutely incredible! She’s big but not too big because I used such small yarn and a small hook. I love her. Also I say yes on the green belly!

This is so cool! I’ve been in a huge bird amigurumi place in my crafting life. I’d love to know if you have any favorites or thoughts on any bird patterns. I have the same issue with knott monster patterns. Great designs but the pattern writing and photo taking leaves something to be desired. Loved seeing your sweet face and bless you for doing all of those dragons, I know that was A LOT of work. Have a great week! ❤❤

Just today was working up a dragon and could not figure out for the life of me why they added the extra step of making a tail when you could have just started the body with that part.

I love watching what you make. I have just started making Amigarumi and already have a huge box full. I am a bit addicted . I have made a few of the mamamademinis Loveys and decided I wanted to make one of the plushies. I chose the Moxi monster and lost track with my stitches at the neck. I knew enough to figure that the 3 sc in one stitch was an increase that needed to be either the back or the front of the neck. I could not tell from the pictures where I was supposed to put these stitches and the pattern doesn’t say. I did it backwards of course! The plushies have this curved sticky out bottom that I had turned out on his front. I then pulled it out and did it backwards again !!! lol. So annoying. I have written a note on the pattern for next time now. Honestly it wasn’t intuitive for me where they should go. I love your input and thoughts on patterns. 😀

I liked the circle patch for your blue dragon. I would add it if it was me. I also agree with your thoughts about the designers adding where the increases need to line up. I’ve had that problem too. Yay!! Dragon video!! I’m with you on stating that shift stitches may be needed!! It’s such a luxury when it’s included in the pattern and it really shouldn’t be! Also, if pieces need to be sewn on the head, PLEASE include a photo of the top of the head so placement is easier to see! You picked a great selection, but I’m surprised you didn’t include Dusty or Dune Dragon from Mama Made Minis! I really like the green belly for the blue dragon. I think it balances him out a little better! They are adorable! Thanks for the work you do on the back end for us all!! ❤

I think the Gilbert belly patch shape would look good on your last dragon (Drake?). All the dragons were adorable in their own way. Being a fairly new crocheter I enjoy these comparison videos to help me decide on pattern choices for my skill level.

@YarnandWhimsyDesigns I just made Whinnie and she came out surprisingly not that big. I used less than one whole skein of the main color in Michael's Chenille Home Slim. I know those are large skeins, but I was expecting a larger result. If it wasn't for her long tail, she would be pretty small.

speaking of doing increases to shape a body, I did the Happy The Hippo (it's by 4 designers) and the increases for the body would have been on it's side for me, But thankfully I have enough crocheting knowledge to be able to make the adjustments for my tension and alter where the increases needed to go. I wouldn't recommend that pattern to beginners, as it could be different for everyone.

I made the knot monster dragon too and had similar issues with the pattern. I used a different pattern for the wings, I couldn’t get the original wing pattern to work.
