but really with that basic magnet lock, couldn't you just open it with a smack against your hand in the right direction? It would knock the top piece off the small magnets which I doubt are holding it that tight, based on this video. I could be wrong, but a simple smack towards the top would dislodge the top piece being held by those 2 small magnets.
@@eolsunder It might be possible, but I don't think it's that easy, if you check the back side of the lid, it has a small border that goes inside the box. So apart from the magnets you are releasing that border from the box.
@@eolsunder those two samall magnets are not just ordinary magnet, i bet you're going to have a hard time to separate those magnet when they get attracted,
Ever since I found this channel I was hooked. I bought myself about 6 different puzzles..all of them you have reviewed. I just want to thank you, anxiety is a big struggle for me and this channel keeps your mind thinking which helps me a lot. I love it, definitely my favorite subscription by far. Thank you Mr. Puzzle for inspiring me to start a hobby that truly helps me. Amazing channel! Keep the videos coming Brother!
Like you, I enjoy the cleverness of a puzzle over ones that are just difficult because they have a lot of complicated steps. This puzzle is very clever. People come up with some really interesting ideas.
I took a few years of German and I always wondered why a pen was a kugelschreiber (sorry if spelling is off it's been a while) we never learned the word for ball. NOW IT MAKES SENSE
Ball is in german something hollow inside, like a tennis ball, soccer ball, football. and a "Kugel" is a solid object like a billard ball (Billiard Kugel), bowling ball (Bowling Kugel). And because of the ball in the tip of the pen its called Kugelschreiber. But not every pen is a Kugelschreiber. Only these with the ball.
Pretty clever use of magnets though the balls mechanism makes it bit impractical to use the box to store anything, with different mechanism it would be really cool box to store something inside.
the big problem I see with that puzzle is that if you filled the secret compartment you would never be able to solve it again because there'd be nowhere for the balls to go. They'd need a secondary well for the ball to go so you could fill the compartment and still be able to solve the puzzle.
I was thinking that too, but the easy solution would be to get a piece of wood with the same dimensions of the piece with the hole and just glue it in to make the secondary well. It would slightly reduce the volume of the storage compartment, but the convenience of not softlocking the puzzle would be worth it imo.
you could make another hole for the second ball to slot into which would give enough space to open it, or just use 1 ball, the balls don't need to go all the way through the holes into the other compartment.
I think this box would be interesting to use even without 'locking' it. Without the balls, you would still have a box that people wouldn't immediately know how to open, and it does have a nice look to it too.
Watching your channel has inspired me! I got my first puzzle last week! It did not take that long to make it work! It was 2 twisted pieces of metal, that you had to get apart without forcing them. It was pretty basic, but fun! The packaging just said "PUZZLE" lol
Really interesting, & a good variety...using the “see” , “hear” , & “touch” senses... I am waiting on puzzles needing “smell “ , and “taste” for new twists ! Do they exist ?
@@fjgaming8019 Smell, not so much. Taste, for sure, but that could also be 'reloaded'. Like, for instance, once you solve one level of a puzzle it may open a cache which has space for a small sweet. That could give you a clue to the next bit. Once you've solved the puzzle you can 'put it back together' by putting a similar sweet in its place.
I also have just found this channel and its interesting to see such a wide variety of complex puzzles and the processes used to solve then. Thanks for great content.
This is brilliant, what a simple but clever mechanism! I love it when it is like that! I would never have such a creativity to "invent" something like that! That video title fits, it's so funny! :D
Amazing video... like all other videos on your channel. Just want to share a small feedback, if I may... that you could have used a glass sheet to show how the balls move when the box is closed. Although we all can imagine and understand, but that would have been even *more* fun. 😊🙂
I love watching your videos. But I dare not buy a puzzle like this, because I would end up over thinking and accidentally breaking it before I ever get it solved 😂
you could just pry it open with... so many things, even a long finger nail. if you had something heavy in the compartment, turned it upside down and shake, it could push the lid open.
Anyone was able to guess the solution?
What was your idea?
Mr.Puzzle v
Easily you put a ball that has a specific weight on the top of the box that unlocks the mechanism.
Huh thats pretty clever
Ich habe keine Ahnung gehabt. Die Lösung war wirklich unerwartet!
Tilt it in certain ways so that the balls lock in a particular position.
Mr.Puzzle 60% I guessed it
The switch from attracting to opposing magnet is a very elegant effect!

One of my favorite puzzle mechanisms shown on your channel so far. That was really clever!
Your presentation has grown so much since you started these video. Love the enthusiasm. Very nice video as always

Basically the term "Kugelschreiber" is a term for a Ball-point Pen.
I don't really watch these. I just listen to them. Anyone else find it relaxing?
you have no idea how much i look forward to these videos.
I love magnets. If they are in a puzzle the result is awesome.
I love how you say balls.

Seems like Constantin makes some really cool puzzles.
I really like how calming these videos are.

Yeah it exists. Play “guess it” with blindfold on. And put ur azz in front of your buddy’s face to guess what it is.
I can imagine someone using a spatula to pry up the top and opening it that way but whats the fun in that.
I got mine today! All the way from Italy!! Love it!!
Interesting... I thought maybe there was a maze in there. But actually they made it more simple. But interesting...
Very ingenious method and I truly enjoyed this puzzle very much! This us what we need MORE of in school to make kids think!
Love the box!
Getting the balls to drop opens up Pandora's box :)
Seriously underrated comment, nicely done.
This looks like it would make a great puzzle box to hide a gift in!
I like the design on the box
That's a nice little box! I like it.
I impressed, how simple and the same time tricky puzzle could be.
very nice design on this one!
simple yet genius mechanism. clever stuff
The puzzle creator missed an opportunity to troll the solvers by painting the balls blue.
sometimes the simple things are the best. one of my favorites so far!
that's great. very simple and effective. i love it.
Lol, great title ^_^
ya right cheers
I'm glad you had the kugel to review this box ;-)
Wow I really like that puzzle box, it's very clever!
It's beautiful construction.
I love your channel Mr. Puzzle
*reads title*
Ooh, Mr puzzle getting......frisky.
great video, and I love the music you chose!
The secret to this one is so fascinating!
Very neat. I like it.
That's why they call it Shpoople, Peter!
I love watching this guy's vids. I like his accent too.
0:24 "varnish" means "Lack", "vanish" means "verschwinden".
'Varnish' is the clear coat on the wood, like 'shellac', 'lacquer' or polyurethane. It is a wood protectant, not a German word.
For someone who understands german the difference becomes perfectly clear though...
As I said, he was talking about the finish on the wood.
Nice! I love the mechanism!
Very awesome as always
We want to see your puzzle collection
It's cool to wrapping up some small gifts =) handing to a friend this box with some toy inside and he have game to get the present as well =)
Very clever. I'm planning a wooden box tocmake at the moment. This might be a nice way to open it but using a slider on the front of the box.
I also have just found this channel and its interesting to see such a wide variety of complex puzzles and the processes used to solve then. Thanks for great content.
The designer/inventor was quite clever
I got an ad that said "Best Saelling Toys for Kids". And yes, They misspelled Selling
Ah a puzzle that gives you the WOOD n BALL'S!
A great start to the year... we need more WOOD n BALL'S, or am I alone with that one lol.
Another interesting puzzle, great work!
That is so cool!
love your videos man keep it up
This puzzle is pretty useful, You can put some valuables inside then lock it ;)
Very interesting puzzle. Easier to solve hands on. Could you hear/feel the metal of the magnets when sliding the top and bottom?
No, you cannot hear anything that would make you think of magnets.
Now thats cool!!!
Subscribed ... because of title
I love your videos!!! As for this Box, i would be good to hide Green stuff in :P
That title tho 😂😂😂
It sounds like it could go the wrong way
New to the channel,I'm in on puzzles now! Thanks for the video!
Great condition! 😄👍
I Love This channel!!! It is great!!! Congrats and keep going!

This is brilliant, what a simple but clever mechanism!
I love it when it is like that! I would never have such a creativity to "invent" something like that! That video title fits, it's so funny! :D
Pretty neat. It seems like putting stuff in the box might make it difficult to open.
How many puzzles tou have? And, can we see them all?
Yay! I figured this one out!
Sir I am inspired by your creations
Not my creation. 😶
I thought about the Generation Lock right now!
i imagined it more complicated inside
‘Secured from any unwanted exes...’
😣👻🤓😳..... Are there any wanted exes? 😹
Mr Puzzle, you do puzzle us so.
nice, really hope you can do some hardest puzzles :D something like 5/5 difficulty :D
If you have a weight inside and turn it upside down wouldn't it be easy for the lid to be pushed open by the weight?
possible spoiler
so, what if whatever you keep inside falls down that hole? gotta be careful on what to keep in there, very nice thou
U have no idea I really need this box
Amazing video... like all other videos on your channel.

"..until I hear the balls drop."
this is good stuff
you could just pry it open with... so many things, even a long finger nail.
if you had something heavy in the compartment, turned it upside down and shake, it could push the lid open.
Excelente!!!
Hmm that's pretty neat, good place to hide some stuff. 😊👍
That great title....
My solution:
Watching this video
Hey man what a wonderful solution
I agree with ally thomas
I really thought before clicking READ MORE
Love it
At least you have the balls to open it
i would use a sleage hammar ! to open it
perfect candy box
In this video we watch Mr. Puzzle's balls drop, how fascinating XD
_slaps balls on box_
"Why isn't it working??"
All you have to do is pry up the lid with the slightest bit of pressure to release the magnets.
