Changsheng is probably the hardest Ming releasable. They only get a single 3 dev province and are in the Tai culture group rather than Chinese or Tibetan. Have fun!
@@roiwelboren9302 on debug mode you can force a gov reform on a tag. @@KitTheAnkafolk RH already stated (again, I suggest you watch Sulu's video) that the AI always goes for the player. Regardless of the best strategy for the great powers, they will always try to border you and covet your provinces.
youre a hero, youve given me countless hours of entertainment in both watching but also inspiration for games to play. the absolute nonsense that you can prove possible makes my mid goals seem ez lol. never even realized releasables were a thing until i saw your series start however many years ago. easily doubled if not tripled the playtime i got out of a game i bought on a whim cause i liked strategy games.
25:38 You can make Siena your vassal right after their war, since they haven’t cored their provinces yet. I have done this to many small nations. Declared wars on nations, given provinces to small allies and then vassalizing them before they core it. Gived you 0 AE.
Changsheng is an excellent opportunity to play Ming's civil war, like chinese warlords style. It would be fun to realease every possible vassal and THEN realease changsheng

was really hoping for you Toulouse this time, but you made it yet again! well done. As Changsheng, become emperor of china, while at the same time creating a Chinese Shengen-area with all your neighbors (either vassalize or tributary after conquering all of china)
Paradox: The AI doesn't target players. AI: Specifically takes the one province that Redhawk has a core on from Aragon, despite it being a disconnected enclave.
re sienna, not sure if you do this, but when i'm throwing out alliances just to get vassals i always disable join offensive wars so they don't feel as inclined to dive into wars
I feel like you missed a chance at a "France is inevitable" meme by not clicking the mission at the very end. I guess it was still inevitable enough when it came to spinning the wheel. Otherweise great and fun campaign! I think we already know what you're going to do as a Ming releasable.
Shaking my head Hawk, when you play France you should conquer the entire region of France and their modern days borders (Alsace, Nice, Roussillon and Corsica)
Maybe once you end up with another french vassal turn yourself into an appanage per console (or make a non Releasables video about an appanage) for a change of pace and some distinct gameplay!
the objective for this one should of been to wipe out France and then Toulouse (to lose) and get wiped out yourself, although I know that doesn't align with the main goal in this series as its Releasables and not A-Z so custom goals aren't a thing
@theRedHawk I think it would be really cool if you do Gascony twice. I know you always pop out of the nation with the most cores, and since it would spawn with 4 from France, you would logically pop out of them, but I'd really like to see you ALSO pop out of England and compare the starts.
I got a unique/fun custom nation challenge for you. Try making a Caucasian, Coptic, Stateless society that starts in Firenze/Florence. But, the key here is you start with the increased governing compasitity idea; the rest can be some mix of attrition, max attrition, defensive fort bonus, and whatever you want beyond that. Tuscany is an amazing start, and the goal would be to take/state the whole Genoa trade node, and convert it all into coptic/Caucasian. That and, of course, take defensive ideas. Bonus if you take Alexandria and any other coptic sites in a stateless crusade. You'll never have such a defensive powerhouse of a nation. Really fun and unique; I highly recommend you give it a shot before eu5.

Escape to colonise America
Form 3 countries as changsheng
The country sounds something like you need to have a lot of trade and money.
Alright hawk, that was too easy as you had nothing Toulouse anyway. 🙃
say that again...
BOO, NOT COOL
hawk too
@@kurzges4105 He had nothing Toulouse anyway.
@hanulu1 ah
Hawk: We should ally the Pope
Pope: (immediately excommunicates him)
Uno reverse card
As Changsheng, have champagne and gascony as vassals to show that wheel who is boss
I agree with you for the horde-apanage vassality. When you play Gascony, I think you should use the console to transform into an apanage.
Wait how?

@@KitTheAnkafolk I think it had to do with the Sunda video where everyone was going colonial

red hawk tuah
He literally got the only two french releasables still to do, what were the odds? Especially considering that he still has to play like 10 Ming's -.-
0.000003 % if I didn't make a mistake.
Idea for Chengsheng: The Cheng-Schengen agreement. As Chengshen, own Luxembourg province or be allied to an independent Luxembourg.
was really hoping for you Toulouse this time, but you made it yet again! well done. As Changsheng, become emperor of china, while at the same time creating a Chinese Shengen-area with all your neighbors (either vassalize or tributary after conquering all of china)
As Changsheng, move your capitol to Yavapé, where the headquarters of P.F. Chang's is in Scottsdale Arizona.
what did Siena gain? a lot of cores to reconquer for their future overlord
If they had the chance to core them up. They might have got pounced on early enough that they didn't.
iirc hawk clicked them after they lost it all and there were green stripes on florence
Thanks!

12:16 As much as I love the House of Lancaster, thank goodness Austria got the Habsburgs back, balance has been restored

6:00 I think Bohemia got elected because Austria had a female ruler which can't become Emperor.
20:56 Bless you man!
I really like playing Europe and seeing videos about all the nations :)
Could you call this a Hawk Tou...? Uhhhh, I think so!
father, please bless me with the heart
When you already have Great Power goal and you only need to destroy your former overlord, you can avoid a lot of AE by making the release nations.
19:12 good save scumming as always

Never knew that about boats and rebels, cheers.
You could try releasing Gascony as England, but the game would depend mostly on events in Maine

Chengshang Sounds like change change... Something to do with changing something complicated twice.
Mamluks diplo vassalize a lot in my experience. Also sometime ottomans or tuscany
Hawk singing Creed is the best
I have to say, Toulouse have a very substandard map colour.
31 trust is enough for the allies to not break the alliance. So 10 favors is enough
the title says "Releasbles"
Funny your Starting Ruler was a Raymond, the last count was also a Raymond.

do you still do save game reviews?
I dont think ive ever allied venice and ive been playing since release
Nah man, Austria always get Bregenz as a vassal in my games
You’ve got nothing…… to lose
As Changsheng (as it sounds like glasses clinking) you should conquer the champagne region!
Ive seen france diplo vasslaise saluzzo, because i was trying to do it and they beat me to it :(
When will the Swedes feel supported in their independence!?

OCCITANIE MENTIONNED LEEETS GO
allying the pope knowing we're the heir of the cathares and faced the croisade des albigeois is pretty sad :(
Hawk-Toulouse
Is there any European country which has a decision to bring back paganism in eu4
There is a very rare event to restore Norse religion as Norway AFAIK Edit: from a quick Google, any Scandinavian culture can get the event
