- Since we're getting the movie 'Blonde', where Ana de Armas is receiving critical acclaim for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe, I thought it was the perfect time to post this compilation that I promised some time ago. Timestamp in the comments telling us what your favorite look is!
PS: the last clip is a scene that makes me emotional every time I watch, 'cause I believe Monroe perfectly expressed that moment when one finds THE right person to love.

It feels like costume designers back in the day took so much more pride in their craft. Every outfit Marilyn wore was a work of art. Classy, feminine, perfectly fitted and tailored.
Yep Hollywood costume designer is the one who designed Princess Grace's wedding gown and it was spectacular, fitted her like a glove and was regal. It became iconic.
People don't realize what a fitness buff she was. The clothes look good on her because she kept herself in great shape which enhanced her stunning beauty.
@danielh3179 really? By all accounts Marilyn only did simple exercises such as a lifting hand weights above her head to firm her bust and wasn't a fan of outdoors activities and considered such a masculine pursuit.
Kiedyś faktycznie projektanci czynili cuda w kobiecej modzie i były to ubrania zjawiskowo piękne takie, aby kobieta czuła się w nich pięknie i wygodnie.
It's 2024 and you could pick any of her dresses and look elegant even today. Timeless. It's amazing how modern she actually looks 💖
Absolutely
Even after all the pictures, movies and clips of her that I've seen, I still can't believe how beautiful she was. And it still makes me mad that all people do is talk about her weaknesses. When are we going to celebrate how intelligent and shrewd she was? Rest in peace beautiful angel
I agree!
Verdade é ela nasceu pra brilhar
❤❤❤
Actually I just see a normal Woman not like what people say about her beauty. Just because she was an actress. Most actresses are just like her. I find Princess Diana to be more unique, pretty and attractive 👌
There was only one Marilyn. No one can copy her. She is a true Hollywood legend. Was beautiful nice and misunderstood by some.
Real ICON, not like Kardashians
To me, she was most breathtaking in Niagara. Her acting in that movie was just so sadly underrated.
I love that movie!
I agree. That movie proved what her range was but Hollywood wanted her stereotyped and succeeded. She deserved Oscar nominations for Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Bus Stop and The Seven Year Itch and a win for Bus Stop and TSYI. If Hollywood had done the right thing(something they never do), it would have done so much for her confidence and career.
I so agree. She was her MOST BEAUTIFUL SELF in that movie
I think that sadly the movie was underrated because people at the time liked her for her dumb blonde characters, and a smart scheming woman was not what they wanted of her, which is unfortunate as she performed amazingly as those characters
The magenta dress she wore at Niagara is simply iconic 🩷
So beautiful!
I had that dress made for me in purple.
let's see it @@AR-gg2su
@@AR-gg2su I had it made for my oldest daughter in purple as well!
Love the wardrobe in "Niagara." She sure was pretty and unreal looking. A pin up come to life.
And this was before cgi and super sets. She was amazing. When I think of what she went through in her short life, I have that much more respect for her.
Yes. When I put info together like marriage's etc. during which movies & all the studio BS with how women were exploited....I so admire her
determination & courage ✨✨✨✨
She was an absolute vision in anything and everything. Her comedic genius was off the scale. Anyone can be a drama queen, comedy requires exquisite timing and intonation. Love you FE Marilyn ❣️💖💖
I love this legendary icon. She transcends time… what an incredible woman
We need a met gala inspired by her. It would be iconic🙌
nahh
Noone can wear it like her.
Don't give Kim k anymore stupid ideas.
As a little girl I saw these movies and I couldn’t wait to grow up so that I could wear beautiful outfits like this. Then when I was an adult it wasn’t cool to wear pretty dresses, and there simply weren’t any beautiful fashions around to ry on and purchase. OR if you did score a beautiful dress and nice matching shoes you’d be laughed at, told youre ‘’overdressed’ or thought of as looking for attention. I just liked the look and the way it made me feel inside. Watching this, I get the same feeling. These movies are so enjoyable. There’s nothing today that really feels as sweet enchanting and delightful to watch as some of the movies back then.
Totally get you ❤✨😘
Every dress looks beautiful in Marilyn's body 💖
Gosh she was so stunning! The single strap purple dress was everything for me! Makes me want to watch all of her movies now!
On another note when Marilyn said her night was suicidally beautiful it felt foreboding 😢
Yes and yes
I think she was murdered.
She didn't kill herself
almost sure they killed her
@@KarinaSwanOh yeah. I’ve thought that for years
Gosh society has tanked so much, the style back then was impeccable.
I wish we still had all that fabulous fashions today.
"I can be smart when it's important" - THAT LINE IS HILARIOUS!
How did Marilyn always manage to wear such fabulous clothes ? I wonder if she was involved in their design.
There was a designer William Travilla who dressed her for about 8 of her movies, "Gentleman Prefer Blondes" is one of them. There were more stylists and custom designers behind this🙂
Also Edith Head
YES
@@grittykitty50 only for one film.
@@KarinaSwan Travilla really helped put her on the map from 1951-54. Watching the clips of Seven Year Itch, I realized not many of her outfits came up for auction other than the iconic white dress.
Seven Year Itch and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes are both gag after gag. What a legend. 💖 Thanks for this.
🥰🥰🥰
I loved the outfits she wore in every scene of " How to Marry a Millionaire!" She seemed like a very nice person too.
Marilyn Monroe truly was an exceptionally and truly extraordinarily wonderful actress. Her talent was impeccable. She was a force to be reckoned with that is true talent.
According to Billy Wilder who directed her several times, she was totally unpredictable. She could do take after take that was totally unusable then suddenly there would be one take that was absolutely brilliant, followed by several bad ones. What we see on screen are the selected takes when she was brilliant, I guess.
@@Orroz44 Even though the director said it was okay, Marilyn had the scene repeated until it was perfect. So too much repetition is something everyone who works with her complains about.
Such a captivatingly beautiful woman! What a tragic loss💔⚘🖤🌹
True! 🖤
😊😊😊😊
At least she will forever be remembered in her prime. No one knows what MM would have looked like in her old age. Forever eternally youthful and gorgeous. ❤ 💖
My God, that woman could wear a potato sack and still look great.
As a matter of fact, she did just that and DID look great! 😄
Such and ICON, such CLASS, such BEAUTY, such HUMANITY!!! She’s ALL ❤
Everything she did was awesome 👏
Thank-you! That was a great showcasing of Marilyn Monroe.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yeah... here we are talking about the queen of icons, the most magnetic and iconic woman ever! She was an unrepeatable alchemy. Timeless Marilyn Monroe 🌟
Marilyn is multi-faceted, like a diamond! Smart, beautiful, extremely talented, her dramatic and comedic skills are priceless! 💖
I love the seven year itch and niagara the most. I love the tiger dress she wears at 1:40.
Right?! 😍😍
tiger dress one of my favorite dress of Marilyn
Niagra?? Really...🤔
Even beside to other beautiful actress, she was the most beautiful❤
There will never be anyone to surpass Marilyn. She had a beautiful figure - a real woman’s figure. Nowadays women are expected to look like adolescent boys with big tits. In Marilyn’s day, ladies were proud to show off their curves.
My goodness she was stunning 😊
so beautiful and feminine!
I wish you'd made this even longer...Can never get enough Marilyn! Eternal love + prayers to her... 💞🙏💞
she is stunnng
An extremely beautiful and much maligned woman. A body of a woman and an innocence of a child.
Love that pink dress!
Que hermosa y femenina era Marilyn!!!❤❤❤❤
One never tires of watching her
There are no women like her today.
She ALWAYS will be our lady of hearts❤
with style, beauty and humour🌹

Perfect figure, posture, teeth, face, hair, she had it ALL. She was a surprisingly good dancer, singer, actress too. Underrated and held back because of her unfortunate childhood. Poor thing didn’t have a chance. But men literally threw themselves at her feet. Feminism be d-md! Marilyn showed how fun it can be to be a pretty, feminine woman who wouldn’t dream of competing with men. She didn’t need to, she was above it all in a class by herself.
What does feminism have all the things u wrote in the comment? She was sexually involved with women too. Feminsitic enough at the time. Plus feminism is not competing with men it is about RIGHTS. Stupid people.
She apparently didn’t think it was all that fun. She killed herself.
A few years later, she would’ve been around for the women’s movement and she might still be alive today. I’d love to hear her sing “I am woman, hear me roar.”
What a woman classy and chic 💋❤️
*** 💘 *
* Marilyn Monroe * is a true Glamorous Angel 😇 ♥ 💖
She and Elizabeth Taylor was the 2 most beautiful women of all the time
I just love ❤️ her because she was so beautiful and a beautiful actress may she rest in peace
You can look at her forever.
She wore the best clothes and the way they fit was amazing.
Absolutely stunning I would wear each look today ❤
Sooo Beautifull Marilyn❤
OMG!! ❤Isn't she absolutely gorgeous!! ❤The one and only beauty❤There wasn't and is anybody like her❤love from Finland
There will never be another one like her ever
an angel she was
"i can be smart when its important, but most men dont like it" ... eh heh, some things never change
Stunning outfits stunningly worn by Miss Monroe
She seemed like a lovely person. Rip angel.
The Epitome of Beauty and Elegance❤ I love her so much ✨!
Nobody can wear a dress 👗 like Marilyn she’s so full of sexy ness without even trying my favorite look is that beautiful gorgeous orange dress with the matching flowing scarf just simply beautiful gorgeous and a very very feminine classy lady she was pass a 10 she was off the scale with beauty .
Yes! Love the orange dress ! ....and her forever enchanting, endearing smile.✨🥰
I loved her entry into the dining hall in that movie. She was so confident looking and looked as if she owned that ship.
@@DaninVa-gt9nj The green suit at 03:11 is buttoned to the neck but looks so sexy, as does the brown herringbone suit at 03:22. She is luminescent 😍
@@pjesf Oh, I agree. She had the body to make those clothes look even better.
Norma Jean/Marilyn Monroe was a beautiful woman. I haven't watched the movie Niagra but it looks like she did a good job in that movie.
Niagara is a great movie , great acting with the fabulous backdrop of the Niagara falls . One of Marilyn's best .
I find it amazing how all of this footage was from the 40's to the 60's and looks are still amazing and the film is still so crisp but we have footage from the 80's that are not that clear and the fashion was horrible like how did we think that that was cool at that time 😂😂😂 the old days were far more sophisticated than we were
Her hair was so healthy her golden locs were on fleek in every movie.
SUBLIME MARYLINE!!🥰😍🤩😘💋🌹🌺
What beauty....and the clothes! OMG love them.
What a *DOLL* she was♥️
I love her hair.
Her blue suit in Niagra is everything!
ÚNICA ❤❤❤!!!
Such a gorgeous woman. Hate to know she had such a sad life, especially with the fact lots of people described her as sweet
What a wonderful actress, as well as a stunning beauty with a gorgeous figure. I miss that era of movie making - the scripts were great, the acting was SO perfect! THIS is what excellent entertainment means and completely gone from today's society. It truly is a tragedy that MM died so early in her life. She must have been just as fascinating a conversationalist as much as she was a tremendous public figure. A huge shame was her involvement with the CORRUPT Kennedy family.
El vestuario es espectacular! Ella un ángel precioso , única e irrepetible! Marilyn , Marilyn.
She is so beautiful!
She is so beautiful 💗🌺🌷🌹
Love Marilyn Monroe. Very talented actress and one of the most beautiful women ever. I would give anything to look like her.
With her ethereal beauty and mesmerizing presence, Marilyn Monroe embodied the essence of Hollywood glamour. Her legacy is as lasting as the stars themselves. You can't find a single photo where her beauty is "more or less"... she is always beautiful, exuberant, radiant and sexy! A star that will shine in our sky forever.
Don't forget the prince and the showgirl.
This movie is the best one I believe in her act and beauty.
I wanna do a part 2 😉
Really enjoyed this.
It's hard to believe that someone who looked like this, and could act this way, was extremely insecure and unhappy in real life.
Absolutely stunning. And she could act too.
What a beautiful angelic soul. She filled a room with her glow ✨️
I love the clothes and woman looked so beautiful
She was murdered, she didn't commit suicide
The tigerdress was cool....different! Havent seen that on her before....
A marilyn é a mulher mais linda do mundo.
She wear the best fashion!!
Leaves me breathless....
So beautiful!! 💖💖
" The 7 Year Itch" is one of the funniest movies ever !
Indeed! It's a HOOT + a half!!! 🤣 One of my all-time faves! TY, Marilyn and entire cast, crew, Billy Wilder director + co-writer w/Geo Axelrod!
