It's always a nice experience when lesser known works by a composer are presented like this .From the very beginning of this recording one has to notice and be impressed with the recording quality. Add to this two stellar and well focused musicians and you've got a home run

Wunderschöne Interpretation dieser beiden spätromantischen und perfekt komponierten Sonaten in verschiedenen Tempi mit ein bisschen neue-sachlichem doch mildem Ton des genialen Violoncellos und klar artikuliertem doch elegantem Klang des ebenso genialen Klaviers. Der intime und perfekt entsprechende Dialog zwischen den beiden Virtuosinnen ist wahrlich ergreifend. Faszinierend vom Anfang bis zum Ende!
