Hi Ben - Rayong is a nice coastline, but difficult to get across to the ferry side from where you started without transport. I didn't see you paying the admittance fee - Is it still on the dock, straight after disembarking from the ferry - It used to be further down the road next to the 7eleven, but most people turned left at the street before the kiosk and walk around to avoid the payment, it was200 Baht if I remember, 40 Baht for Thais.

I can't remember paying a fee, I must have got lucky.
