It's always heartwarming how supportive Pete is. He always says he's "old" but the way he's always been so kind and unbiased towards Ironmouse and Vtubers in general is why we all root for him.
@@nickmilo932 I think RumbolDongle is just pointing out that a lot of older people especially don't "get" Vtubers, but Pete always had an open mind and got on board with something a lot of people his age would find too weird to passionately support

Pete and I both started wiping away tears at the same moment. I'm so proud of Mouse to have made it so far. I will hold out hope for her and Connor sharing a beer for as long as it takes.
IMOy, I think they could do it now, she seems to be well enough to have had Thanksgiving dinner with her parents at the dinner table - I'm not sure how that worked I do think she is extremely nervous about meeting him, she's admitted to having developed a crushing social anxiety (probably partly due to her body dysmorphia, partly due to her being isolated) - but she goes to see her doctors on occasion and that is out of the house. Granted they'd still have to take precautions such as no contact and Connor wearing a surgical mask as well as him being in peak condition, no illness of his own, clean and sanitized clothing etc.
Or at the very least it wont happen until shes physivally recovered enough to even think of doing something like that without a motion capture body double for the choreography likeshe had for this performance @@Brainreaver79

I couldn’t help but laugh imagining the people in that crowd who don’t typically watch vtubers or even know what they are. That must have looked completely insane LMAO. That was cool though, the production values were top notch! Even Con… er… Bubi did well! I loved the way they transitioned from the interview to the performance!
I watch mouse from time to time. But I've never seen a vtuber concert. I'm curious. Do they usually sing live or is it prerecorded and basically a video. We all know that mouse can do it. I'm just wondering about how it's done.
@@danbelow90 Most of the time Vtubers concerts are prerecorded, there are some live performances, but they are mostly have less production. Mouse have two prerecorded concerts of her own availible for free on youtube. In Mouses case dancer is a hired staff, but a lot of times Vtubers do their own choreography in mocap studios.

As for Mouse, my guess is she do it pre recorded mostly due her condition, that way she doesn’t overstrain herself and cause some harm to her. Pete is so supportive, it's amazing. He talks about how great it is that Mouse is successful, but he is also someone that I'm so glad is successful because he's just such a genuine, sincere, and nice guy
I was surprised by the first performance, and then during the new song my jaw dropped...and at 5:02 I pretty much did exactly what Pete did. Usually not my kind of music, but Mouse and Bubi* did an incredible job with it.
This was the best year for live music at the streamer awards. Like past years you always had one or two let downs or mess ups and this show everything went off without a hitch and looked and sounded amazing from every artist but especially mouse.
This was mostly really heartwarming to watch, and I am so glad to see Mouse getting her time to shine because she truly does deserve it. It makes me sad that Pete thinks being emotional about watching his friend/students/etc succeed is "weak" - it is human and normal and good to get emotional about stuff, everybody. Let's stop perpetuating this weird "we have to be stoic all the time, emotions are for weaklings" mentality (**I am NOT saying Pete is a bad person - we all have our 'stuff' and we all know that Pete is a sensitive dude and shows this on a regular, I'm saying in GENERAL**). It's really nice to see a person get so swept up in a performance by his friend and get choked up with pride. This is what real friendship and humanity looks like. It's okay to cry, y'all!
I’m relatively new to watching Connor, mouse, and this whole group going on but the more I see Pete the more I like this guy. He’s just the most genuine, nice, sweet person and I can tell that anyone who has him as a friend is profoundly lucky.
Pete is very open-minded and I love that about him. Even things he might not be familiar with, he is always willing to give it a shot. His introduction to Ironmouse and VTubing in general and the way he appreciated all of it, got him a lot of love and respect, and friends, from those communities. I was surprised he recognised Henya, for instance. It shows how much he is invested. A great example to all of us, I feel, to not judge and being respectful. Pete: You're a legend.
To bad the production team was awful and kept breaking the illusion by switching to awful camera angles. They should have kept it as a fix front camera shot with some shots of the dull audience look like they don't want to be there thrown in.
Bad angles, didn't show them transitioning through the screens, etc. Also the crowd throughout the event were just straight up rude you could literally hear them talking over people presenting or talking on stage. Can hear it in the start of this video as well
Why don't they make her own little r2d2 type bot with full 360 camera and mic plus stereo speakers and two arms with hands she can control. Put a wig on it paint like one of her outfits and have a big screen in the head that her face shows up on. The mousey bot 1000. It could have like small tank treads and can go up stairs. Then she could go places with Conner more.
Gunrun is working on it. He's been developing portable streaming gear for years under the brand name of IRL Backpacks. I think it was last year that VShojo introduced the convention robot that Mouse can drive herself for meet and greets. The biggest issue is that conventions tend to have terrible internet service. There year before last, they used a remote controlled robot arm at conventions to sign posters. We're slowly getting there.
Now that Maya n Qt pointed it out i cant not hear it, the streamers constantly talking while the people on stage were talking or presenting awards is so rude.
Amazing performance. Does anyone know if that's actually them dancing? Also Pete looks kinda like a well groomed Javier Milei, the Argentine president.
No, most of Mouses dancing is done by Wata who is a pretty known japanese choreographer and dancer. Mouse is not at the point to actually dance like this yet.
@@catwhowalksbyhimself Mouse has done away with the walker for the most part. When she can she has an exercise machine, treadmill, and does 12min duration or so.
