The first layout was actually built by former Sunbury Model Railway Club members, John Hill, Roy Hill, Kevin Schultz and ? (Can't remember his name) it was inspired by the Settle and Carlisle Line and Dent Station in England, and was exhibited back in the early 1990's - it was donated to the SMRC a few years ago and modified somewhat. Often, the original builders are forgotten......
At least the Sodorese trains had some light weathering and realistic loads in the wagons. Not all straight out of the box trains with only 2 or 3 wagons as is usually the case. ;-)
