That garbage advice. Why would the other side wear faster ? The new tire isn’t putting any extra load on the other one. Your advice literally makes no sense.
Ran 4 sets of different brand on my truck for 4 years without issue before I changed them all out. They all typically use the same tread pattern. Only difference is what there charging you. Not sure why you would think tires would wear faster being from different brands. They a have a standard they have to speak tires too.

Zig dog when you put a new windshield in a truck and normally have that leak what I did on my truck a while back I had them glue it re-glue it to stop it from leaking. I don’t know why those trucks do that when you repair your windshield I had a freightliner that had a windshield. I gotta replace that fucker leaked, but I took it back to the shop and made them glue it to where it wouldn’t leak anymore. It’s a bitch getting it out of there if it crack again, but that’s what I had him do mine. yours could be a different you got. Excuse me when I send you these comments because I do voice message. Did you say you paid 325 usd for that new tire? Up here in canada we get the same chinese tires and i pay 150 usd a tire, i just bought chinese steering tires for 220 canadian price, all high ply rateing, all those chinese tire brands are the same, i just cant believe the prices you guys pay down there. Just buy your own tools and tire wrenches and do it yourself then go to tire shop they are a rip off.
