You can't redevelop Villa Park to 50,000 or 60,000 because there's not enough trains to Aston and Witton stations, and Aston and Witton train stations are too small. One of the reasons why they're renovating The Stumps Academy building and turning it into The Warehouse, and turning the club shop into a megastore, is to reduce congestion, because as we all know, it's already a nightmare getting out of Villa Park. If you add on another 8,000 or 18,000 seats to Villa Park, it'll just add to the congestion and create more chaos, that's already there now.

With Atairos investing in us and given the fact they never invest in any business without Comcast giving the go ahead you'd hope that could push us on into the truly elite bracket. The fact is to truly bridge the gap we probably need to get Comcast fully on board getting them to sponsor us on the shirts and ground naming rights etc.

The revenue vs wages should be considered by all fans who complain about the price of matchday tickets etc. - this is the cost of paying the wages of such players we want to have at AVFC as they are the ones that bring (or should bring) the results we all want to see !!
@@marineboy1964 He was on that at Barca but was supposed to have halfed his salary to come to Villa. Supposedly somewhere between £150k and £200k. I don't type that to defend it btw. £7.8m to £10.4m a year in waste is wild. Plus €4m per year We'd still be paying on the €20m transfer fee (which would be getting more expensive as the value of the pound falls). What it also means is that He can't be sold or perhaps even given away. He almost certainly isn't going to take a pay cut when He can continue getting paid and loaned out anyway.
18th richest globally. Billionaire owners. Agreed. I suppose the question is how big? Maybe it's better if We find out if We'll be a regular CL side 1st? No point building a 60k stadium if you'll need 75k in 5 years. Yeh, the 96% wages to revenue ratio for 2024 is a huge issue. As is the relatively poor Commercial income % when comparing with your example of ManC whose Commercial income account for nearly half of their revenue stream!
Wild that West Ham are ahead of us. Is that to do with London weighted sponsorship? As others have commented, we will need a twenty-first century stadium and annual European football to break up the big boys.
And being given the olympic stadium which we all have to admit puts out stadium to shame we need to sort the stadium out possibly even move from villa park if its going to hold us back behind teams like west ham spurs stadium also is why they have gone so high
