Ive never heard of this band because i wasnt have any interest in alternative music. But i just realized how amazing they are. And doesnt matter how many years gone.
Oh I definitely can. Watch their performance on fuse in 2004 or 2005 I believe. It's in the description of the video. Just look for the thumbnail that looks old. It has 1.3 mil views. And not the one where they play on Conan.
Breaking Benjamin are a bad ass Rock/Heavy metal band Alternative metal. I f*cking love this song. The singer has an amazing singing voice I absolutely love it. And the drummer is absolutely an awesome drummer. The rest of the band are brilliantly, good. Great songwriters, so talented. And they Rock this is proper Hard and Heavily in your face Rock 'n' Roll music, no horseshit 😎🤘.
@@robcrowson8587for sure, Chad Szeliga is an amazing drummer. Shaun, their current drummer, just isn’t… all that. Not hating the guy, but he’s just an awkward drummer Live.

that show was just a short ride south from hometown ! so, it was like a home show for them.. I remember seeing them open up at thinks bar in scranton. we had some wild times there .....great shows
Wait, he has a throat disease? I thought it was something to do with his brain.. Or maybe I'm just thinking of the Dear Agony album cover. I know he had something wrong due to his alcoholism or something like that, but I forget what...
First time I saw these guys was 04 I believe in Charlotte, the day of the show my buddy heard tickets were still available so we went to the ticketmaster in the fye at the mall lol, lucked up and got front row tickets to breaking Benjamin, three days grace, Seether, and evanescence, in that order, anyway when breaking Benjamin played so cold, Ben brought out a guitar tech "toby", "said Toby come out here, nobody knows who the fuck you are"....hands Toby his guitar, says "don't fuck it up" and they played the song. Seen em 5 times since then and they're hands down my favorite of all time.
Shaun was really a lucky fella. He was a big fan of Chad, of course not on the same level but is doing the job nowadays. Chad is a unique drummer. so sad that he is always changing projects
@@hugorezende199 yeah Chad's work on Phobia never gets old for me. He plays quite busy parts but makes them fit the songs perfectly, and brings a lot of cool jazzy beats and touches (he has a jazz/funk background) that you don't usually hear from straight up rock drummers. He has phenomenal groove and feel as well. Breaking Benjamin is definitely missing something now that he's gone. No disrespect to Shaun, but Chad stands out to me as one of the best to ever do it.
I like the new drummer don't get me wrong, But Chad had a very unique style/rhythm to his tracks. I low key wish BB would have him back or that chad would go back. Didn't Chad leave because not enough money was coming out of the deal or something? I don't think he was a part of that record label deal the old guitarist and bass guitarist tried to do right?
Morgan Williamson Chad stuck around after klepki and Fink went behind Bens back, I think he left due to inactivity and to make money, Chad is really good, honestly he’s better than shawn.
Yeah, Chad overall had a way more fluid feel about his playing. I’ve always been a fan of his. Their new drummer Shaun just always has this awkward sort of vibe about his playing Live.
I like how the drummer acts as a metronome when starting these songs off so you don't get some dumbass sped up version of live song that's 15bpm too fast.
Like, ya it sounds different from the version you hear on Spotify and such, but its still an amazing song, especially compared to most other bands today that modify the hell out of their songs
Now I love Breaking Benjamin but this is one of my favorite songs and it may be this one performance but it sounds bad live comparable to the recorded song (nothing against them as Most bands/people sound nowhere near as good live)
Are there any live videos of the vocalist sounding good? I just went through about 10 pro shot videos and he sounds awful. So much production on his voice on the records.
First 3 albums were his best vocals wise, after that there's alot of effects, basically anything before this live sounded great but shortly after the 3rd album was released he almost drank himself to death, and to this day he still hasn't recovered fully, try to find the lives from 2003 they sound amazing
There's a full set from 2023 on youtube where he sounds really good, like, it's the best he has sounded in years. They even played Blow me Away and his vocals sounded pretty close to what they sounded on the studio version.
One of those early 2000s Breaking Benjamin tracks that I still love blasting today on a regular basis.
definitely make Northeastern Pa proud !!!

They rock!!
They still release music. Check out their whole discography. Amazing stuff!
Absolutely
Well now do yourself a favor and play Halo 2
Props to the guitarist for not messing up with that crazy delay effect. On another note, the bass will always be my favorite part of this song

The drums at 0:56 sounds like soldiers marching into war. Chills.
I wish he still had this particular band. They're far better music wise than his current line up
Totally, i miss old breaking benjamin ☹️
I love the current band now. He doesn’t have to do all the vocals on his own now because Aaron and Keith are so great too.
