I had decided that I didn't want to watch the series until I tried watching episode 1 of the series, then I was totally hooked. I watched it many many times. Not displaying the number of times here only because it is embarrassing to admit just HOW MANY times I've watched it. A League of their Own is so written well....and I am in love with the cast...every single one. .. and D'Arcy, I admit I am one of those "hoards of lesbians" following you! LOL

I think this interview was very interesting! I thought it was funny how they chatted about everything but the movie I think a lot of people will be surprised what it is about.

This was not needed. Where is the creativity? Every time they say “reimagined “ I think cringe. Just imagine new stuff. Stop stealing others ideas.
i would disagree and say it was needed by many! they were able to expand on so much that was not able to be included in the movie.
Maybe you don’t need it reimagined but for so many women of this time the message that the series conveyed was not conveyed the first time round, many stories still needed to be told. It honestly it was a great watch!!

This applies to a lot of stories tbh but this one is based off of real people and there was a lot left to say about it. Plus its a good show
Shakespeare said there were no new stories . We reimagine stories we know. The new stuff is the framing, the detail and that leads to new audience new POV etc. Dont knock reimagining .
