Hey man, I wanted to thank you for reaching out to me and answering my questions. If it wasn’t for content like yours I would’ve never have had such a great time in Chicago last may getting on to my first smallie while enjoying the Windy City. I hope you doing well and wish you the best of luck. Coming from the west coast, tight lines.
Hello, Sir! I‘m one of your followers on TH-cam. I watched a lot of your videos, especially those about trout fishing and salmon fishing. I really enjoyed your videos and would like to ask you for some tips on how to catch trout or salmon these days. I just moved to Chicago a year ago and have always had salmon and trout as a small goal that I just haven’t been able to achieve. And I‘m going to try again this Saturday and Sunday.
You sure like reeling with the drag clicking, get much twist? I'll keep my rod low like that when they run, I raise the rod, dropping it as I reel. That looks like a 2500 size reel, hard to tell on the rod, could be that lighter equipment, long more noodly rods to cast way out? Babying them soft mouthed, finned varnmints isn't a bad idea either. I don't like the T handle, spin that empty reel hard and feel the wobble, I ran a smaller double paddle handle, smooth as silk.
Caught many of these species off the US Steel breakwall, west of Miller Beach in IN.They closed off access to this great spot as result of Homeland Security Act.No terrorists have been apprehended since that time, along the Lake.Seems like boat fishing only, now.

Thanks for the video! Always great to be out fishing in February !! What kind of line do u use ?
Can you keep them?
How do you know what spots to hit exactly? I been wanting to catch my first lake trout / brown
I kook for good water clarity and parking. Also do a lot of moving around. I don't stay in on spot for to long unless I'm catching.
Did your Chicago brown trout have blue gravy?
Great video as always. What's your favorite lure for Coho?
Coho try to eat just about anything. I like moonshine spoons, mepps flying c and rooster tails. 😊
Greetings, great fishing. Can you write the location? Thank you
Between North Ave Beach and Oak St. Beach
What beach is this? Montrose or North Ave?
Looks just south of north ave beach
Hey Jesus where is it?
I would like to know from the author why you throw the fish back into the water? It's not tasty, what's wrong with this fish?
It’s called catch and release you should try it sometime
@@DoctorSess It's just that since ancient times it has been believed that a man should return from hunting or fishing with catch.
@@AlanDivChannel yeah well they also used to believe that drinking goat urine cures the clap
@@AlanDivChannelgood thing we’re not in acient times anymore and can just go to the grocery store
@@snakeskull0743 Only those who don't know how to fish going to store
