you definitely can’t be claustrophobic to go in there. Yikes
Philippines next pls 😊😊😊
Terima kasih 🙏❤
@@jaysonesponilla1198 Mabuhay philipina, Philipine is Tagalog 👍👍🍷🥂
I’m Indonesian in London I’m come from East Java where lot of vulcano euption, but soon I will be there on North Sulawesi probably
- My question is how were they able to back track 👣 && how did they all get back to civilization? So interesting. 🤔
Amazing documentary! Indonesia is a truly vast archipelago and many of its areas are still left under-explored and under-researched academically. The country is a huge laboratory of biodiversity - a reminder for all of us to keep protecting this treasure for the next generation.
Sulawesi is a unique, fascinating island still largely unspoilt but threatened by nickel mining and deforestation . This expedition and discoveries hopefully will help protect its biodiversity. The irony is that the more publicity, the more threats emerge.
This looks like it was written by AI
So how are people supposed to make a living smart guy?
Hahaha😂... As always. West Hypocrisy
Deforestation has not stopped here. The island urgently needs more conservation areas and better protection for its existing ones. But that seems unlikely to happen.
@@newport100better find WAYS NOW. Once the forests are gone economic issues will get infinitely worse. With no forests remaining resources to draw on will be gone along with their forests. So it's not true that forests are disposable commodities.
There are a lot of other ways to make livings and objecting to nature destruction is not hypocrisy.
Third world countries wanted the West to buy their palm oil. It was their idea to do this. Not the West's.
In Sulawesi, Indonesia found many proofs of the oldest civilizations in the world. There, found the oldest pre-austronesian man fossils that are direct anchestor of Australian Aborigin, papuan, new zealand, and many other indigeous tribe of oceania. The oldest cave paintings. The oldest Tattoo painting. The oldest kite painting. And many more.
Many archeologists said that the history books must be revised.
Those are not civilization proofs buddy
I don't know when this film was made, but I sure hope these explorers managed to convince Indonesian authorities to deem this area officially protected from exploitation. Wild animal life on Earth is declining rapidly. If you like living in a diverse biological landscape, its a must to protect it.
Indonesian or any other country would prefer to choose a way to make peoples lives better through opportunities from mining, tourism etc...why would u wanna live poor just to have animals live like ultra rich 😂😂😂😂
@@tatsdgreat8886 You aren't very intelligence are you. The WEF, world economic forum is already seriously discussing feeding the hordes of people on Earth "bugs" as food. At the present rate of animal life decline, that includes bugs especially flying insects that pollinate the flowers of our most nutritious food products. No flying insects, no food idiots.
I love Bahasa Indonesia language, aku saya Michael from Colombia.
Muchas gracias Columbia from Indonesia, Mucho Gusto Senor🎉🎉🍻🤠👍
such an amazing documentary of a piece of the Sulawesi Puzzle! I am from the island, i was excited seeing the anoa and the wilderness of the environment. But what truly touched me was the cave paintings and the artefacts as well as the bones. At the end part of the documentary where Evrard dkk went up on the last funeral cave with full of statues and artefacts, it gave me goosebumps and a little tears. It was truly a finding. I hope nobody took any of the artefacts for their own gain and i hope that future archeologists would study these artefacts and kept them safe for future generation to see and study.
The video did say that everything was returned to its original location, so scientific work could be done. A very beautiful place, worthy of the highest respect.
I mean it would be better to be placed somewhere safe like a museum and not just leave them there for anyone to take
Mereka tidak faham apa itu dkk
chinese will come to this place and make mining
Wow, there must be a million leeches and a billion mosquitos that aren't mentioned. Such brave people. Kudos to you and science loving people
definitely hahahaha
Ooh I got a million mosquito bites in Bali 😮 those lotions don’t work
Thank you guys! I am Indonesian and I am so proud of you guys, your efforts, sacrifices and everything to bring this documentary to the world and especially to Indonesia. Greetings from Flores island.

What an incredible documentary! Just about as well made as any I’ve ever seen. I actually found this by researching Evrard’s foundation. So glad to see such wonderful work tied to such a worthy foundation. Lets you know just how legit it is.
On a personal note, I have been fortunate in my life to have spent a good deal of time on the island of Sulawesi. It is a place very near and dear to my heart. In a nation full of natural wonder, it is a true paradise. But a paradise in peril, hence why I was researching groups looking to protect its wild places. I’ve spent some time in Southeast Sulawesi. That was about ten or so years ago. And it was visible that inroads were being made into its wilderness for transmigration settlements and the oil palm plantations that are always soon to follow. It saddened me then. It angered me. And though I’ve found some ways to temper my anger, I still find it heartbreaking that this process seems to continue unabated. I’m very glad for Evrard’s work. What this team accomplished will hopefully pave a way towards this area being protected. I mean, when you find that kind of rock art along with populations of babirusa… but then also ANOA?!! That’s amazing! Certainly worthy of a protected status. It would seem, however, that this needs to happen immediately if not soon. There is already a small chunk of land in a valley just north of the massif that has been cleared for…. you guessed it, oil palm. And this will only grow and destroy more wilderness if it’s not addressed quickly.
So god speed, Evrard. I will be donating to the cause and seeing if there is any way to volunteer next year to put my money (and my boots) where my mouth is. This is a very worthwhile cause. I hope anyone who watched this and read my comment might try to do the same.
Watching from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬
Great adventure, i hope Indonesian people can protect this precious land
we the sulawesian people vow to protect the island, but when big mining companies come in through government investment opportunities, it is very hard to expell them. Some people died or disappeared of protecting the sites from mining activities by big companies.

Love you back from indonesia!
On this island there are thousands of megalithic sites from BC and also hundreds of ancient paintings, the most famous of which is the pig deer painting which is more than 40,000 years old, making it the oldest ancient painting in the world
its only 40,000 yrs old in the imagination of evolutionists. In reality, the earth isn't that old.
Absolutely stunning! What a blessing it would be to have the opportunity to explore untouched landscape! Truly exciting adventure it must have been!!

Indonesia is a paradise perfect in the world 🌎...
The expedition leader mentions several times about the danger and the impossibility of rescue. And yet he often exhibits a carelessness about breaking bones that would certainly doom the expedition.
Yeah I’m sitting here like yo, wear a helmet in those rapids you crazy people. 😳🙄 Sheesh…

Excellent...
This upsets me greatly
18:00 that young guy just blew my mind, kryst, that's interesting AF
As a Indonesian, I say this for the rest of us : We Need HELP! to save our ancient artifacs and other traces of ancient civilizations, our Government are so Corrupt that nature exploitation and ilegal artifacs trade are Very Common amongst the conglomerate and oligarch through out the country.
Awesome
Luar biasa 🇮🇩
just wow
This is super cool! I think the local researchers should've been invited tho. Community-based conservation plays the most important part in Indonesia's conservation effort.
It's entirely possible they were invited. We don't know.
Finance the mission and you can do it whatever you want. Until then shut it.
Spectacular 💯💖
Crazy expedition by crazy explorers and scientists.
Those dark underground river caves are scary af.
You Should Explore The Buniayu Cave, It Was Awesome.. Selamat Datang Di Indonesia !

Keren Indonesiaku
Sungguh sangat kaya rasa indonesiaku.
Wow! ❤
This guy is my favorite explorer, but where is his channel
Nice,😍
✔️ idol
Good 👍😊
More adventure documentary with guys climbing unsecured in front of the camera and, happy disturbance of archeological sites before accurate protocol following documentation had been acquired. A kind of "Red Bull science" which appears to be more interested in "good scenes" and the dramatic plot arc.
It would've taken longer if they had to document everything. Best that they do what they do best then let the local archeologists and other people know so those local people will prepare for a longer expedition.
