Grey Bronze & Mustard Dot Mandala - Tutorial - Step by Step

Watch me paint this Grey, Bronze & Mustard Dot Mandala step by step... these videos are done to give you some inspiration to create your own personal designs...
Paints used in this video are a mix of odd paints that I already had from previous paintings... yes, still using up my stash... that were blended with Pouring Medium at a ratio of 3 parts paint and 1 part pouring medium with a touch of water... (a lot didn't have names on...)
The brands were an assorted mix of Global and DecoArt Americana Acrylics... the DecoArt paints did not have the pouring medium in...
I'm desperately trying to use up what paint I have pre-mixed so if you do try this design, simply use what colours you like or something close to what I used... It's all about creating your own piece of art... I'm just here to give you some inspiration and to give it a go!
The board used here is a 30cm MDF round... The guidelines are drawn using a watercolour pencil... rings from the middle are 1cm apart using a compass and the lines are drawn using a protractor and ruler at 10 degree intervals... the smaller of the two circles drawn on the outside
measures approx 6cms across and the larger one measures
approx 10cms across, both drawn using a compass... I pretty much make my designs up as I go along... I never have a plan! That is the fun bit... sometimes I draw random shapes to give me inspiration and make me think outside the box... or circle... sometimes I use them, sometimes I don't...
The Ball Stylus Dotting tools I am using in the video are from the McGill Paper Blossoms Tool Kit and the dotting rods are from Happy Dotting Company...
