idk if this is the case but for some reason I feel like the 400-500s I play are better than the dude in the video like they don't hang free pieces as much and they can easily find checkmate opportunities that I can't
It’s because he has less games played on the account so he is matched with 500 elos with less games. Whereas in our case I have 120 games played so I will be matched against an opponent with similar stature
My best piece of advice is. Every single move ask what are they attacking and where do they want to move next. You will absolutely win more games if you ask this every single move and respond accordingly.
Great series! It's great to have another articulate teacher on TH-cam that can help walk through chess principles in an easy to understand way! I really liked that you didn't capitalise on the obvious blunder your opponent made to help keep the game instructive and not immediately imbalanced.
Hi Hoffster. I don't know if you enjoy making videos but I enjoy watching them. The unraked to 1500 series was something I looked forward to everyday. You have the skills to be a great chess player and youtuber if you continue to make great content for us :)
@@sanelqun6606i don't think that it's entirely impossible if he played long enough with proper techniques and tricks he could, I myself went from below 200 to 500 in less than a week.
@5:58 Your Bd5 is pinned to Qd1 and you suggest blocking Bg4 with Bd5 to Be4 leading to Qxd7. It is defend by Rd8, but I think most 500 elo are going to lose faith and tempo when they lose their queen to a discovered attack. I'm sure anyone stuck at 500 elo knows tactics, pushed pawns, discovered checks and attacks, etc. Good video, I just wanted to point out the loss of the queen. This is a good video as there are a lot of videos for beginners that enforce certain rules, whereas, a player might be coming back into the game aware of beginner to intermediate chess and just got some bad play.

Yeah truee😅
This is how I also experience it.

@@yeshuaislightwoah I didn't know about that that's why it's hard to play against 500 elos I have done 180 games.

8.08 push the pawn bro
This game is easy when somebody atack you with a Queen just chace his Queen by developing peaces
16.45 take the damn free pawn guy unpinned the King😂

My mission is to make educational and entertaining chess content for you guys, I appreciate it
I know why I'm stuck below 1000. I keep playing 2000 + ELO teachers posing as chess noobs.
Practice puzzles bro puzzles get me from 1250 on Lichess to 1550 fide 😂 openings doesnt matter much in your peak
3.14 take the damn bishop 😂😂😂
Same Here 1550 i just dont blounder Like this
5.15 he atacked the Queen so what f5
at 2:10 why not just take with pawn and keep the knight?
if pawn takes it doesn't threaten the knight at c3
that's just a theory coming from a 400 elo 💀💀
14:50 you moved out the bishop that was protecting the g pawn. They didnt but could have taken the g pawn with the queen causing problems
I would've considered pushing the pawn instead, keeping the tension
This is bad game but still good game for your rating😂
Thx for the courses . I was 500 a week ago now I’m 900
That is impossible lol

500 elo in the video 💖🫦🍣✨️🥰 500 elo when i try on my own 👹👹🔥🔥💀💀☠️🤡

Lol the dudes I play at the 400-500 level never make that bishop mistake. That's wild
I'm at 400 elo, 3:00 time restraint, and I've seen people go for niche lines against me. I usually play high though
Thank you so much for this video! This really helped me a lot in my chess journey, road to 510 elo!
at 7:20 if that happened you could just check the king and win the rook 😂
how does this work? if i play someone they could play 5 billion different ways if i play a opening and they play an opening it could go anyway.
In simple words, on this elo u should just follow the principles and u will find a move soon which will start a cascade for a win
And thats the beauty of chess. You need to use your brain, if it was that easy then it wouldnt be a game.
Super helpful! Keep it up!
Nice video, really enjoyed it! Keep it up!
I got to 600s easily upon first starting playing. I cant believe that first guy just gave away a bishop like that. Never played anyone that bad
hoffster my sweet, please return and bless us with your genius
Loved it, I hope it helps me get better
Thank you 🙏
More Video like this pls. Awesome
Great advice! Sometimes the grandmasters think things are too easy and miss explaining the why. Thank you
What is your USCF rating, Hoffster?
I am 300 elo, and I think they are very strong for me. but it seems very easy to beat in you video, I don't know why.
It's probably because the player he is playing against is probably weaker than average 500 elos.
@@animenetic8340 Yeah I'm hard stuck in 300 elo rn and this guy's elo is way higher than it should be
is this the blues clues of chess
615elo here...@5:15 QB6
I Am just below 500...what i have to improve
Free link doesn’t work no more??
It does work
very good video
Because I blunder. Blunder. BLUNDER!. I play bots and consistently win up to 1700 ELO. Play live and get blasted. So many blunders.
I'm stuck below 2500
you are not those types of cringe youtuber
i love that how you so calm and cool i really appreciate it....
I'm below 200 elo
Nice video
nice video
Very nice 👍
Thanks
