I watched the Liverpool game with my brother, a Liverpool fan. And after the first two goals, I kept a high spirit and knew Madrid would win because Liverpool players looked more worried than the confident Madrid players. Elite mentality.

yup Vini showed up that game. I knew after his first goal it remontada season.
However, I also knew going into it that the first one was the one we were gonna give up. The second was luck and was worried about but Liverpool played us respectfully they didn't close rank and just sit in the box like they do in la liga. Which is truly the only way to stop Madrid and even then it might not work. We have to deal with it every week. We are inevitable to at least hit one goal and the way we did it I knew Liverpool were shook.
Vinicius is the successor to CR7 when it comes to moments player. He has the 7 for a reason. He hasn't been playing well so far but UCL started he will elevate himself.

  • @brutanedda3107

It's actually insane, it's almost magic. There's no exact science to express that kinda emotion. I played rugby when I was a kid and we got on a bunch of tournament finals, and before a final there's a moment, one moment in which it's almost like all the pressure, all the weight lifts off, and only thing you can hear is silence. Like absolute silence. You see the pitch and you can almost see butterflies flying over. It's not really about mentality, nor I believe it's just "destiny". A good coach create the conditions for you to be able to play a final without even noticing yourself. What lifts off in that moment I think is the human doubt. You really become something else. If that happens to me, as a kid, playing a little rugby tournament, I can't even imagine at this levels how tough it is to reach such "zone", with all that is on stake, and again it's not mental, it's almost spiritual I'd say. It's not something you have to do, it's just something that "happens".

This is the dumbest comment I’ve read. When you started playing football as a child, what was the most fun part of the game? Was it parking your entire team in front of your own box, defending for your lives, and waiting 90 mins for one counter attack while you watch the other team attack you? Or was it actually getting on the ball, making plays, scoring goals? It is absolutely justified for a professional football player to be upset when a team “plays” football like that. It’s boring, against the entire spirit of the game in search of only the win. The truly great teams play on the front foot looking to attack and control from minute one. Also, Rodri must not be complaining all that much considering he hardly ever loses.

The thing with Real Madrid is that lots of teams play with fear against them except one team, which is Barcelona. Other teams play almost against them every two years or so and when the time comes they’re afraid, although Real Madrid strategy and tactics are nothing to be afraid of. The problem is that they have very good players who can change a game when the rival makes a mistake. And they make those mistakes because they have fear. Not only fear of Real Madrid, but mostly fear of failure. In order to beat RM is important to never stop attacking (keep scoring) , maintain a defensive composure (specially after conceding goals) and a strong mindset and focus because the referee is on their side (it’s like that🤷🏻‍♂️last season against Barcelona, Leipzig, Bayern Munich…)
