Oh my, I loved this video. It brought back so many memories. When I was a child my parents took me and my brother to Scarborough for two weeks. My dad would take me to Harbour Bar for his coffee and me a hot chocolate and we would then go down to the dock to see the fishing boats come in. I am 69 now and have lived in New Zealand for 45 years but Scarborough will always have a big place in my heart. Thank you.
What a wonderful delightful establishment, reminds me of my first ever job at Fortes Bournemouth when i left school back in 1982 worked their until it was burnt down😢😢
Great video, as always you always put a smile on my face, I was in whitby last week and I said to my Mrs the icing on the cake would have been to see you. A d just at that moment you walked around the corner, I could see you were in a hurry and just had chance to say I love your videos and you said thank you. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your videos.
My grandma & grandad used to take me to the Harbour Bar before the decor was retro, in the late '60's. I'm 62 now with dodgy knees but always go when I'm in Scarborough, wouldn't miss it. Never had anything savoury but I think I'm going to now, the food looked delicious. Cheers for the upload.

Morning each, I say them are a right pair of sunglasses Mrs M😎 Talking about retro stuff, them sunglasses straight from the beach at St Tropez. Film stars, models. Fur Bikinis. As for the Fonz AKA Arthur Herbert FONZARELLI ah happy days. Gotta tell you the Divine Mrs M could play Mrs C in that show. See you more as Al than Mr Cunningham 🤔🌟That place looks like a diner off Route 66 and the vibe is pure 1960's. Re the tea, could have asked for doggy " bag /bowl " 😂😂What did they say at the A&E department when you asked them to remove the 🥄🥄🥄spoon??? Your a brave chap Simon. Tally ho🐺🫏Allan&Family
The real knickerbocker glory as jelly blmonge ice cream and fruit with sprinkles on .I used to have one a lot in the late 60s.and you could have strawberry syrup on as well.

Oh wow , can’t remember when I last had Knickerbocker Glory . There used to be a big Italian Cafe in Holburn St Aberdeen that did huge ones . It also in early sixties has a video jukebox box , always seemed to be playing Screaming Lord Sutch , Jack the Ripper .
The spoon licking had me laughing, that's exactly what I would have done. Think you have the devil sitting on your shoulder, same as me. All the best from the kingdom of THAILAND 🇹🇭 Ps no knickerbocker glories out here 😊

Mrs M didn’t like you licking her spoon 😂
You can't beat a good ice cream. I used to go for a banana split but I've a hankering for any ice cream with honeycomb in it nowadays.
Scarborough......seedy and run-down.
Whitby much nicer, The Angel pub is really good.😊
