No te alegres tanto, amiga. De dónde sacas que hacemos las fallas con plástico????? Sabes que usar ese material para combustión es ILEGAL, TÓXICO, CONTAMINANTE HASTA DECIR BASTA ADEMÁS DE SER UNA SOBERANA ESTUPIDEZ? Es cuestión de sentido común. Prueba a quemar plástico, ponte delante, respira y verás lo que ocurre..si no acabas en urgencias es porque directamente acabas en la morgue. Por qué no os documentáis mejor? Sabes que quienes trabajamos como artistas nos podemos meter en un follón por cosas como estás???? Deberías editar el vídeo, pero antes infórmate. Si quieres yo he brindo toda la info necesaria de cómo de hace un momento fallero.@@AgustinIruela... plástico...es demencial. Qué falta de sentido común...
No deberías usarlo en tus clases porque estarías desinformando a tus alumnos. Esta señora no sabe lo que es una falla ni cómo está hecha. Es más, no tiene ningún sentido y es una falta de respeto a mi gremio. Las fallas para Valencia es una forma de vivir los falleros están todo el año viviendo está fiesta en sus casales donde impera la cultura que define a esta ciudad de esta fiesta viven miles de familias todo el año en fin por algo es la mejor fiesta del mundo donde toda la familia la disfruta está comunidad es especial y única
Pues que vida tan aburrida, dedicarse a una única cosa cuando el mundo y su realidad son tan diversos.

One of the best known festivals in Spain
is "Las Fallas de Valencia"
The "fallas" are sculptures made out of wood, cardboard and plastic.
Around 700 of them are set up around the whole city, some are larger
and some are smaller.
Some of them are more humorous
and some others are more satirical.
Some artists devote months to build these monuments
which can be higher than 30 metres.
They are so big that cranes are required to put them together.
By the morning of the 16th March the "fallas" must be finished.
In order to achieve this, some artisans work without a break during the former day and night.
It is the "plantá".
People from Valencia organise themselves in "fallera" commissions.
Each of these associations is in charge of building their street's or square's "falla".
The fallera commissions compete against each other
in order to achieve the award for the most beautiful and orignal "falla".
Look, this one has been given the first prize.
The "fallera" commissions also set up marquees in their streets
to celebrate parties,
to eat
and to dance.
The main events of the Fallas are celebrated between he 15th and 19th of March.
The streets in the city centre are closed to traffic
so that people can walk around and enjoy the festival.
In the "pasacalles" the musicians play while they walk
and people follow them singing and dancing.
They are a lot of fun.
In the days of the festival, thousands of "falleros" parade wearing traditional costumes.
Women wear beautiful dresses and hairstyles.
Each "fallera" commission is followed by a marching band.
During the 17th and 18th the "falleros" bring flowers for Our Lady.
With these flowers a fantastic dress is made.
The "Fallas" is a very fun festival which takes place in the street.
If you go, you will definitely have a great time.
There are lots of huts that sell "churros" and pumpkin "buñuelos".
In the morning some "falleros" go around the streets making a lot of noise to wake up the neighbours.
It is the "despertá".
Valencian people like fireworks a lot.
They also love rockets and firecrackers that make a lot of noise.
The children set off firecrackers in the street.
At two in the afternoon the "mascletá" is celebrated in the town hall square
where hundreds of kilos of gunpowder are set off.
During the "Fallas" bullfighting also takes place.
Some streets get illuminated with colorful lights
and in the night they offer amazing music and light displays.
The fallas' fate is to be burnt on the night of the 19th March, the day of Saint Joseph.
It is the "cremá".
Why do we burn the fallas?
Pay attention to what is about to happen to the "falla" with the horse.
It burns down in a few minutes.
They are burnt beacuse in the old days, it was the carpenters' tradition to burn old things
in order to give their farewell to winter and welcome spring.
What a shame!
It is a shame that they are burnt.
Each year there is only one small figure which escapes from the fire.

Admittedly in England we used to burn a ‘Guy Fawkes’ on November 5th each year but they were usually made from old rags, stuffed with newspaper with a balloon for the face; not beautiful works of art like this. It all seems such a terrible waste.
A tip: you can watch series on flixzone. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies lately.

Je suis un cours de conversation espagnole et , après avoir présenté en espagnol cette fête aux autres élèves, j'ai montré votre vidéo, avec les sous-titres en espagnol. J'ignore ce que signifie le niveau B1 (étant Belge), mais c'était très facile et tout le monde a apprécié et compris. Félicitations, c'est top!

hola, las fallas NO llevan plástico, ultimamente se estan introduciendo materiales respetuosos con el medio ambiente, como la materia prima de paja de arroz para hacer la fallas.
No se si sabías pero este video fue publicado hace nueve años, en ese entonces no se preocupaban tanto por el medio ambiente como ahora.

Es muy muy difícil hablar sin errores gramaticales, pero lo que importa es que los alumnos sean capaces de expresar sus ideas con claridad y que puedan comprender lo que dicen los nativos cuando les hablan.
Eso es un objetivo más fácil y asequible, ¿verdad? :-)
Estoy acuerdo con usted, pero en nuestro escuela de idiomas en Tenerife piden demasiado mucho. Mi maestro de Español me dijo que yo hablo gramaticalmente mal, es en pesar de todo yo entiendo perfectamente las películas, conversaciones y ets. A mí me más cuesta es escrito . Tengo tantos errores . Después que me ha dicho esto yo lloré. Yo nunca podré hablar y escribir literatura mente perfecto. Soy Estanjera yo me esfuerzo pero es muy difícil, y no quiero andar con alguien por solo que me surge aprender Español. Gracias a personas como usted que se hacen tan Gran trabajo. Sorry,but I need to say this in spanish.Lo primero,porque estan hechas de plástico y cartón.Segundo,porque,la versión popular del origen de las fallas según el Marqués de Cruïlles, fueron iniciadas por el gremio de carpinteros que quemaban en la víspera del día de su patrón San José, en una hoguera purificadora, las virutas y trastos viejos sobrantes, haciendo limpieza de los talleres antes de entrar la primavera.Espero que te haya servido de algo😊

Se están haciendo esfuerzos para cambiar los materiales. De todas maneras, si se eliminasen, poco cambiaría los niveles de contaminación en la ciudad.
