I love my oled switch. It’s the console I play the most. Unless there’s a significant upgrade to the switch 2, I don’t see a reason to upgrade from the oled.
@aleynaagilli-hc2nu yeah that won't happen. Nintendo are going to release switch 2 exclusive games from April and on which is a good thing, you could wait to get a switch 2 later in the year or whenever you want if you really want to play some of the switch 2 exclusives eventually
I got my Oled switch the beginning of last year, and it’s perfect! I will watch the Nintendo direct in April, but I’m not going to replace my Switch just yet. It has so many great games - I love your Switch, by the way ❤
Finally got my oled for Christmas after wanting it for so long. Mine is also from Japan && it came with the a one month online subscription code! I love mine and it was totally worth the buy in 2024/2025 ☺️.
I don't need one since I own an original Switch. I'm planning on getting and upgrading to the Switch 2 when it's released. Backwards compatibility with digital games and cartridges, better kickstand, larger size, and improved Joy-Cons (hopefully, they'll be more durable!)? Yeah! That sounds like a major upgrade!
Great video! Very calming. ❤ My first Switch was the revision in the Red box Nintendo did in 2019. I didn't have the money for the original 2017 one and mostly the battery life of the 2017 one was too short for me, since I knew I'd only play handheld. I later sold my 2019 Switch to buy the OLED and I love it so so so much. No regrets. I also got the Switch Lite in early 2020 so I alternate between it and my OLED. I also love decorating them. Nintendo is set to officially announce the Switch 2 by March 31st this year and I am really excited about it, but I don't plan on getting it. My experience with handheld consoles that are backwards compatible means the visuals are not as sharp. As someone who mostly plays visual novels, I am not sure it will be visually appealing. For exemple, I can't play my DS titles on my 3DS, even if I ask the console to shrink the visuals 1:1. Same for the PSVita : Persona 3 Portable looks blurry on it and so it's hard to read. I just don't bother. I think I saw that the Switch 2 will have AI upscaling, so it will be interesting to see. As for if I'll buy the Switch 2 : I'll wait for the OLED screen upgrade. I am really hoping for a Lite OLED upgrade this time.
I believe the Japanese switch has more trouble connecting to 5 GHz Wi-Fi on higher channels which are used here in the US causing it to back down to 2.4 GHz most times which makes Online gaming a bit difficult especially since Nintendo games don't use dedicated servers. Either way, great buy and I have the same Japanese model as well!
About a week go i finally got my hands on it, ik ppl were likenwait for the switch 2 but i just wanted a switch been wanting one for years and could finally afford it
I’m trying to get my hands on one 😅but all are currently out of stock. It’s like war of games over here trynna check every other day of the week to snatch one 😂
Can’t decide between the switch oled or lite I currently share a oled switch with my younger brother but I’m a new gamer wondering if the lite will be worth or even better wait for the switch 2. Can you also do a tutorial on how to find trustworthy sellers on buyee to get consoles!
I personally loved my switch lite when I first got it and used it heavily! I can’t say whether i’d recommend the switch 2 or not as we don’t have much information on it currently. I can definitely make a video about finding good sellers using buyee ☺️
It probably won’t be released until July anyways! Also, I think the switch 2 is kind of ugly 🤭 i’m going to hold out for a special edition before i upgrade!

Yeah but what if we cant play the Nintendo switch 2 games anymore on the oled🫠

@ they confirmed they will be backwards compatible. Eventually it will be exclusively switch 2 but probably not for a good while.
I got my Oled switch the beginning of last year, and it’s perfect! I will watch the Nintendo direct in April, but I’m not going to replace my Switch just yet. It has so many great games - I love your Switch, by the way ❤

Thankz M8 Sometin So Obvious But Ard\ On Point With anotha Generation!
Same I want a switch 2 lite bc I have a oled so I don’t want another big handheld
I’m ONLY getting a switch 2 if it’s mandatory to play certain games. That’s a huge if. I got the totk oled so I’ll never change it
Ive had mine for 3 years now and its been a fun ride. The library is huuuuge and i still have so many to buy lol
Same here! I've had a little too much fun collecting switch games but the library is so good!!

that’s so nice that you got one month free of nintendo online as well!!
@ Thanks to that, I was able to get a lot of gems on sale and even two bundles worth $40 for $1.99!!
Mine came from china
i can’t wait to get mine for my birthday!😍
i got mine in november and am loving it so much. honestly don't feel the need at all to upgrade to the switch 2 in the near future
Those white joycons are so cleaaannnnn 🤍
i’m obsessed 😍 i really hope nintendo will bring back the white color scheme for the switch 2 at some point!

I hope you enjoy your Nintendo switch 🩷
I’ll def be waiting to upgrade until OLED switch 2
I just bought one ❤, I will get the switch 2 when it will have an oled version 😅

Hmm i’ve heard that as well! I don’t play any online server games so I haven’t personally run into that issue!
I have a regular switch but I’ve been thinking about upgrading to the oled. I’m trying to use my switch more often before I make that commitment tho 😅
That’s a good idea! If you like to play in handheld mode mainly, I think it’s worth the upgrade!

@@pebblesplayys it rlly is the and the og's thick bezels annoy me sm
Hello can you do a Nintendo decoration like you did for the Steam deck :)
If it’s much cheaper, yeah I’ll buy the Switch. Besides it’s a good size for handheld.
I got. OLED switch 2 not to long ago. It's worth it. I even have a LG BX Oled.
Me too! No regrets

I’d check out Japan if you’re able! I found a bunch on Mercari Japan and really well priced
I just got mine as well today!!!!
