Hello I recall that there is another setting required so next time your reboot the hmi has "New hmi" as the default application. Otherwise every startup will ask what application to use.
@Javier Arellano: You are absolutely right. That's why I have the link below under the video description. Thank you for subscribing to my channel and your comment. Meu amigo, fiquei um mês pedindo para um amigo me ensinar fazer essa aplicação, e agora vejo seu video me ajudando muito, fala um pouco do ip caso precisa trocar. Abraço daqui do outo lado, Brazil.

Very good hands-on explanation about transfering the datalog file to a usb. Unfortunately that is something that the normal user or a supervisor access could do without provoking a serious mistake. It is there any way to make a display where the user could choose the transfer of that file to a usb from the internal memory? Any ActiveX for that purpose?
@Javier Burgoa: You can use "ActiveX" to store the captured data in the HMI internal memory on HMI windows desktop. @12:35 DL_Saved_To_HMI th-cam.com/video/NhnU071xKpM/w-d-xo.html It is just a tag (String data type) assigned to "File Location". You can easily create it as an HMI tag and use a selector switch to toggle the value between: • \USB Storage\DataLog_ActiveX_USB.csv • \Windows\Desktop\DL_ACTX\DataLog_ActiveX_HMI.csv Hopefully you get the idea. @ME Tech: I am not sure what your question is. To make sure the HMI work with the usb stick or the SD card, I did use the HMI to format it before. By doing that, the HMI worked with the SD card regardless. Before that I used my computer to format it but the HMI kept failing to detect the SD card and I couldn’t upgrade the firmware via the SD card. It’s weird but sometimes it did happen even with a brand new SD card. Hopefully this answers your question. Thank you for subscribing to my channel.
@indrakrisnabayu7377: Not all USB drives are the same. The newer ones that is over 32GB might come in exFAT or NTFS format that will not work with Allen Bradley HMI's. Please make sure it is formatted to FAT32. That might solve the problem you are experiencing. A while ago, SanDisk tech support recommended me to use the software named "FAT32 Format" from their website to format any external drives with any size to FAT32. Unfortunately, I don't keep the link to download it but you can ask them for the link. Good luck.
@user-kg4gj4fl5u: To upload, you simply need to select your computer for the "destination" and the HMI "internal" memory for the "source". Thank you for subscribing to my channel.

Running into an issue, I can copy .mer file to HMI but won’t load, says unable to load, idea??
@LastMooseStanding: It might be from the HMI firmware or the resolution or the version of the HMI (Standard or Performance).
