      You can try to disabling all of the Energy Saving and automatic image modes on your TV. This should prevent the color settings from changing automatically based on the time of day. Give it a try and see if it helps!

      Unfortunately, this model from the video does not have a gaming mode. But of course you can use it for video games, it's always important to choose the highest resolution, and try to experiment with Brightness Settings and Dynamic Contrast, to choose the ideal brightness and contrast for you.

      @EverydayThings  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To factory reset your LG 49SM5C-B, you can follow these steps:
      Turn off the TV.
      Press and hold the "Settings" button on the remote control.
      While holding the "Settings" button, press the "Power" button on the TV.
      Keep holding the "Settings" button until the TV powers on and shows the setup screen.
      Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the factory reset process.
      This should reset your LG TV to its factory settings. If you're still encountering the "PC display port, no signal" error after the reset, you may need to check the input connection and ensure that the correct input source is selected on your TV.

    Hello, i have an old LG tv 42LN549D-TA. i dont know how to add portable hard disk with it..

    • @EverydayThings
      @EverydayThings  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can connect a portable hard disk to your LG TV by using the USB port. However, it's important to note that older TVs, like the LG model 42LN549D-TA, typically have USB 2.0 ports. If your portable hard disk is a newer model with USB 3.0/3.1/3.2, the TV may not be able to read it, and nothing will happen when you turn it on. Make sure your hard drive is compatible with the TV's USB version for it to work properly. If you have further questions or need assistance, feel free to ask!

    is it necessary to connect the wifi directly to the TV or will it be a wireless connection?

    • @EverydayThings
      @EverydayThings  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For a non-smart TV, a direct Wi-Fi connection is not applicable as these TVs do not have built-in wireless capabilities. If you want to use internet features, you'll need a separate device like a streaming stick (e.g., Roku, Amazon Fire Stick) or a set-top box that can connect to Wi-Fi and then connect to your TV.

      In the service menu of LG TVs, it's typically not recommended to make adjustments unless you're a qualified technician, as it could potentially cause further issues with your TV. However, if you're experiencing low SPDIF volume output, you might want to try adjusting the volume settings on your connected device or checking the audio settings on your TV.

    Hi, I have an old LG TV Model: 42LG30D and I don't know why it doesn't get any signal from my antenna even my antenna is working to my other TV. I tried factory reset and manual tunning but no reception getting. • @EverydayThings
      @EverydayThings  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It sounds like there might be an issue with the TV's tuner or antenna port. Since your antenna works with other TVs, it could be specific to this LG model. You've already tried a factory reset and manual tuning, which are good troubleshooting steps. You can also try with another antenna to see if you have one, to know if it is to the antenna or to the TV tuner.

    • @joelcastillo3099
      @joelcastillo3099 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you so much for your reply. Yes that would be my next step. I will be trying to get an indoor antenna to see if there's a difference. What do you mean by the TV tuner, how can I identify it?

    • @EverydayThings
      @EverydayThings  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You're welcome! The TV tuner is a component inside your TV that receives and processes TV signals from your antenna or cable. It's responsible for tuning in to different channels and displaying them on your TV screen.
      To identify the TV tuner, it's typically not something you can easily see from the outside. It's an internal part of your TV.
      But hopefully in your case it will be that the Antenna and your TV are not compatible, and that it will work with the other antenna or cable.
      But, if you're experiencing signal reception issues, it's a good idea to consult your TV's user manual or contact the manufacturer's customer support for specific guidance on locating and troubleshooting the TV tuner.
      I hope this helps, and good luck with your indoor antenna test! If you have more questions, feel free to ask.

    How do I get the full wide on the aspect ratio unlocked because it’s greyed out?

    • @EverydayThings
      @EverydayThings  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To unlock the full wide aspect ratio option on your LG TV, you have a couple of options to try:
      Remote Control Button: Your remote control might have a dedicated button for aspect ratio adjustments. Look for a button labeled "Aspect Ratio" or "Ratio" and try changing the aspect ratio using this button.
      Factory Reset: If the aspect ratio option remains grayed out, you may need to perform a factory reset to restore all settings to their default values. Here's how you can do it:
      Press the "Settings" button on your remote control.
      Navigate to the "All Settings" option.
      Scroll down and select "General."
      Choose "Reset to Initial Settings" or "Factory Reset."
      Confirm the action by following the on-screen prompts.
      After the reset, you should be able to access and adjust the full wide aspect ratio option.

      It sounds like your TV might be experiencing a power interruption or a glitch. To prevent the need for reconfiguration every time you turn it off, try the following steps:
      Check the power source: Make sure your TV is connected to a stable power source and there are no power interruptions or fluctuations.
      Disable quick start or eco mode: Some TVs have power-saving features like quick start or eco mode. Try disabling these features in your TV's settings to see if it helps with the issue.
      Update firmware: Check if there's a firmware update available for your LG TV. Updating the firmware might resolve any software-related issues causing the reconfiguration.
      Factory reset: If the problem persists, you might need to perform a factory reset. Before doing this, make sure to back up any important settings. Follow the steps in the video to reset your TV to its factory settings.
      Hope this helps!

      It sounds like a software issue. You can try a few steps to resolve it:
      Factory Reset: Perform a factory reset on your TV. This will revert it to its original settings. Please note that this will erase your personal settings, so be sure to back up anything important.
      Software Update: Make sure your TV's software is up to date. You can usually check for updates in the TV's settings menu.
      Check Connections: Ensure that all cables and connections are secure. Sometimes, a loose cable can cause display problems.
      Professional Help: If the issue persists, it might be a hardware problem. In that case, it's best to contact LG customer support or a qualified technician.
      These steps should help you diagnose and potentially resolve the issue.

      Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
      If there are multiple HDMI ports on your TV, try connecting the Fire TV Stick to a different port to see if it works.
      Remove HDMI extender: If you're using an HDMI extender, try connecting the Fire TV Stick directly to the HDMI port on the TV without the extender.
      Test on another TV: If possible, try connecting the Fire TV Stick to another TV to see if the issue is with the stick itself or the TV.
      Restart TV: Sometimes, a simple restart of the TV can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off the TV, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
      Check Fire TV Stick compatibility: Ensure that the Fire TV Stick model you have is compatible with your LG TV.
      I hope this helps you resolve the issue!

    Why cant i playy movie files on Lg 22LK311-TB its showing unsupported format. How to find best format??

    • @EverydayThings
      @EverydayThings  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Here are a few reasons why you might not be able to play movie files on your LG 22LK311-TB TV.
      1. Unsupported Format: The LG 22LK311-TB is an older model TV and may not support certain file formats, including H.265, HEVC, and DTS audio. It may also not support playback of videos with high resolutions, such as 4K or higher.
      2. File Size: The LG 22LK311-TB has a limited file size limit for USB playback. Files that are larger than this limit will not play. The file size limit is typically around 4GB.
      3. USB Drive Compatibility: Ensure that the USB drive or external storage device is compatible with your TV. Not all USB drives are created equal, and some may not be recognized by your TV.
      Solutions:
      1. Convert File Format: If your files are in an unsupported format, you may need to convert them to a format that is supported by your TV. There are a number of free and paid file conversion tools available online.
      2. Reduce File Size: If your files are too large, you can try reducing their size. You can do this by using a video compression tool or by re-encoding the files in a different format.
      3. Use a Different USB Drive: If you think your USB drive may not be compatible with your TV, try using a different one. Make sure to use a USB drive that is formatted in FAT32 or exFAT.

      This model of LG TV supports older HDMI model devices and cables. If your HDMI device or the HDMI cable is for a newer version, like HDMI 2.1, then it might not be compatible with this TV.
      To resolve this issue, you can try using an older HDMI device or cable. If you only have newer HDMI devices and cables, you may need to purchase an HDMI converter that can downconvert the signal to a format that this TV can support.

      Hello! I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your TV's sound. Here are a few steps you can try:
      Check Volume Settings: Ensure that the volume on your TV is turned up and not muted. Sometimes, it's a simple oversight.
      External Devices: If you have external devices connected, such as a soundbar or speakers, check their connections and settings.
      Reset TV: Try turning off the TV, unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, and then plugging it back in. This can sometimes resolve minor issues.

      The issue you're experiencing might also be related to the video size or compatibility between your phone and the TV. Make sure the video format and resolution are supported by your LG Smart TV. If your videos are in 8K resolution and your TV supports only HD videos, it may not be able to play them. • @EverydayThings
      @EverydayThings  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There could be a few reasons why you're not able to download TH-cam on your TV. One possibility is that there is a problem with the LG Content Store itself. You can try restarting your TV and then checking the LG Content Store again. If that doesn't work, you can try contacting LG customer support for further assistance.
      Another possibility is that your TV model is not compatible with the TH-cam app. The 42LS575T-ZD model was released in 2012, and TH-cam has been adding new features and functionality over the years. It's possible that your TV's hardware or software is not up to date enough to support the latest version of the TH-cam app.
      If you're unable to download TH-cam to your TV, you can still watch TH-cam content using an external device, such as a Chromecast, Roku, or Amazon Fire TV Stick. These devices plug into the HDMI port on your TV and provide access to a variety of streaming apps, including TH-cam.
      Another option is to turn on developer mode on your TV and then download TH-cam as an APK file and try to install it. Developer mode allows you to install apps that are not officially supported by your TV. However, it's important to note that installing apps from APK files can be risky, as they may not be secure or compatible with your TV.
      I hope this helps!

      @EverydayThings  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If the reset button is not visible in the options menu, there might be a couple of things to check:
      Verify Hotel Mode is Completely Disabled: Make sure that hotel mode is fully turned off. Sometimes, certain restrictions may persist even if it's partially deactivated.
      Navigate through Menu Options: In the Options menu, explore different sections thoroughly. Sometimes, the factory reset option might be located in a specific sub-menu or under a different label, like "Initialization" or "System."
      Update Firmware: Ensure your TV's firmware is up to date. An outdated firmware might affect the availability of certain features.
      Check the User Manual: Refer to your TV's user manual. It might provide specific instructions on accessing the factory reset option for your particular TV model.
      Also here's an alternative method you can try:
      Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
      Navigate to [General] and then select [System].
      Within [System], look for [Reset to Initial Settings].
      Confirm [Reset to Initial Settings] to initiate the initialization process.
      I hope this helps!

      Here are a few steps you can try:
      Factory Reset: If your TV is not saving settings, a factory reset might help. Follow the steps in the video 'How to reset LG TV to factory settings' to perform a reset.
      Check for Updates: Ensure that your TV firmware is up to date. Sometimes, issues can be resolved with a firmware update.
      Power Cycle: Turn off the TV, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in. This can help clear any temporary glitches.
      Reset Individual Settings: If the issue persists, try resetting specific settings that are not saving. Navigate to the particular setting, reset it, and check if it saves upon restarting the TV.

      Here are a few things you can try:
      Check your network connection: Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly and that your TV is within range.
      Restart your router: Sometimes, a simple restart of your router can resolve connectivity issues.
      Update your TV's firmware: Make sure that your TV's firmware is up-to-date. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause connectivity problems. Check the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to update the firmware for your specific TV model.
      Factory reset your TV: Since you mentioned that the option to select the internet is greyed out, performing a factory reset on your TV might help. This will revert your TV settings to their original state and may resolve the issue.
      If the problem persists after trying these steps, it's best to contact LG support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps tailored to your TV model and help you resolve the issue.

      You might want to experiment with the resolution settings on your PS4. Try adjusting the resolution settings on your PS4 to lower resolutions and see if that improves the clarity of the screen while playing.

    Hello sir I have LG : 32LNB41B-TB so how to connect TV with mobile

      @EverydayThings  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To connect your LG 32LNB41B-TB TV with your mobile device, you can use various methods such as HDMI, USB, or wireless connectivity options like Miracast or Screen Share. However, since your TV is a non-smart TV, it may have limited connectivity features compared to smart TVs.
      For HDMI connection: Simply connect one end of the HDMI cable to your TV's HDMI port and the other end to your mobile device (if it supports HDMI output). Then, select the appropriate HDMI input on your TV using the remote control.
      For USB connection: If your TV and mobile device support USB connectivity, you can connect them using a USB cable. This allows you to access media files stored on your mobile device directly on your TV.
      For wireless connectivity options like Miracast or Screen Share: Check if your TV and mobile device support these features. If they do, you can enable them on both devices and follow the on-screen instructions to establish a connection wirelessly.

      The 'Invalid Format' message and blinking can be frustrating. First, make sure you've selected the right input source on your TV for your device. Also, check all your cable connections, especially HDMI. Try restarting your TV by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. If the issue persists, you might want to check and adjust the resolution settings on your connected device, as it could be set to a resolution your TV doesn't support. Firmware updates can sometimes help too. Hope this helps

      It sounds like your TV may be experiencing a software issue that is causing it to reset on its own. You may want to try performing a factory reset on your LG TV by following the steps outlined in the video. This will erase all settings and data on the TV. If the issue persists after the reset, it may be a hardware issue, the most common problem for that is faulty capacitors and you should check all capacitors on your TV board.

      The ONKYO RC-882M remote supports several codes for LG TVs, which you can find in its manual. These codes are: 10037, 10178, 10556, 10698, 10714, 10715, 11178, 11423, 11768, 11840, 12182, and 12358. You can try programming these codes into your ONKYO remote to see if any of them work with your LG TV model.
      Here's how you can proceed:
      Programming the Remote: Follow the instructions in the ONKYO RC-882M manual to enter each code and test it with your TV.
      Manual Code Search: If the specific codes don't work, you can perform a manual search using the remote's programming feature. This involves trying different codes until you find one that successfully controls your LG TV.
      Compatibility Check: Ensure that your ONKYO remote is compatible with LG TVs. Some older remotes may not support newer LG models, especially those released recently.
      If you've exhausted all the listed codes and the remote still doesn't work with your TV, it's possible that the ONKYO RC-882M doesn't have the necessary code set for newer LG sets. In that case, consider using a universal remote or obtaining the original LG remote for full functionality.
      This process should help you get your ONKYO RC-882M remote connected to your LG TV. If you encounter any further issues, feel free to reach out for more assistance!

      It sounds like your TV might be stuck in a mode or have settings that need adjusting. Without a remote, it can be challenging. Try these steps:
      Use the physical buttons on the TV to access the menu.
      Look for an option to reset or restore factory settings.
      If there's no menu button, try unplugging the TV for a few minutes and then plugging it back in to reset it.
      If this doesn't work, it might be best to get a universal remote and try any steps.

      The issue might be due to compatibility between your PS4 and the TV. Since the model shown in the video is a bit older, it may not support the high resolution of the PS4. Here are some steps you can try:
      Reset the TV to factory settings and then attempt to connect your PS4 again.
      Adjust the resolution settings on your TV to the highest possible before connecting the PS4.
      Ensure that you're using an HDMI cable that's compatible with the TV. Since it's an older model, it might support HDMI 2.0 but not HDMI 2.1. So, make sure you're using the correct type of cable.

    Good night! I am writing to you through Google Translate because I speak English poorly. I have a question: I have internet from Vodafone Germany. And in the kit with the router I have a twisted pair cable (patchcord) that connects to the router. With the other end I want to try to power my LG32LH200H TV. There is such a socket on the TV. But it is signed not as “LAN”, but as RJP Interface. What happens if I plug the cable from the router into this socket? I have a TV service from a provider. There are no channels through a regular antenna cable. And the previous tenant of the property connected the TV (the same TV) through a router. But unfortunately there is no connection with him. Will it be possible to receive a signal from TV channels this way? Or is it worth buying an Internet set-top box and watching TV channels via WIFI? Thank you.

    • @EverydayThings
      @EverydayThings  19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Good night!
      The RJP (Remote Jack Pack) Interface on your LG32LH200H TV is not for internet connection; it’s typically used in hospitality settings to connect external devices like control systems. Connecting your router to this socket won't provide you with TV channels or internet services.
      To receive TV channels, you have a few options:
      Use a set-top box: Connect it to your TV and use it to receive TV channels via an antenna or cable.
      Internet set-top box: This can connect to your Wi-Fi and allow you to stream channels and other content.
      It’s best to get an internet set-top box for streaming TV channels over Wi-Fi if you don’t have a standard antenna or cable service.
      I hope this helps!

      Connecting a non-smart TV to your mobile phone is limited, and it primarily allows for media playback like videos and pictures. Here's how you can do it:
      USB Cable Connection:
      Use a USB cable to connect your mobile phone to your non-smart TV.
      On your TV remote, select the USB input source.
      Your TV should recognize your mobile phone as an external storage device.
      Navigate to the media files (videos or pictures) on your phone and play them through the TV.
      Please keep in mind that this method is suitable for media playback only. If your TV has USB 2.0 ports and your smartphone uses a newer USB standard like 3.1 or 3.2, it may not be compatible due to differences in the USB protocols.
