    You are so sweet France, and even a bit funny. This will keep people wanting to watch your videos. I love your use of colors, and I hope that one day my art journaling will look at least half as good as yours. Beautiful!

    France, I truly admire your style. I enjoy your humor and love your soft, soothing voice. I have watched many of your videos recently and have learned a lot about different mediums and which ones layer well and which ones resist. This journal spread is one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing your creativity, your time and your passion for life. -mary

    Good job! Makes me want to run down and open my journal (I love when that happens) - you can't put a price on inspiration! Thanks so much for taking the time to share :-)

    Wow bravo pour cette superbe page! This is my first time watching one of your videos, but certainly not the last!
    De plus j'aime beaucoup la narration qui nous donne une idée du processus créatif et des différentes techniques utilisées. Franchement j'aime beaucoup ce que vous faites.

    Loved watching you create. It took you 1 1/2 hours, I'd be lucky to be done in 1 1/2 days! Just amazing how you do the layers. (And I really liked hearing you tell what you were doing!) Patti

    I really enjoyed having you talk us through the process. The layering on this piece is fabulous and I learned new ways to use my pan pastels. Fabulous colours. The saying made me laugh out loud :) Thanks.

    BTW, personally, I like that you clean as you go. Sometimes, it can be quite distracting to me while watching videos to see the mess created, which I know is unavoidable at times. Thanks again!! You are truly gifted :)

    Loved your video. I appreciated that you told us the actual amount of time it took you to do these pages. I had never heard of clear gesso before. I'll have to check it out at my art store. Looking forward to next week!

    Please keep talking during your videos ... I love hearing your accent, plus I enjoy hearing how and why you do different techniques. You're amazing at this and I'm fast becoming a fan/stalker (but in a good way) !

    Please continue speaking during your videos. I, too love to hear your accent, it's quite soothing (I've been missing the "tah-dah's" at the end on the last few videos as well!). I also like to know what materials and techniques you are using while you work. I find your work so absolutely inspiring. Wanted to know if you use the same font for your wording on each spread, or do you mix it up? Also, wondering what size font you use. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent!!

    • @francepapillon
      @francepapillon  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi!
      The size of the font depends on the journal in which it will go. I often stick to Adler, and the size goes from 10 to 14.
      Hope this helps!
      I'll focus on the tah-dah's in the future, I promise!

    oh, France, please don't giving your instructions, verbally, on your videos....the music only is boring to me, and when you give comment on what you are doing, it helps us "newbies".... can I give you a "small" English lesson???? when you are talking about sewing on your art journals, in American English we say, phonetically, "so". it is a homonym......so, sow, sew.......all words sound the same as "so"...........
