Reading novels is a escape to me and I'm too much into it.. and that leds me to start writing fictions. I'm glad before starting my any novel Allah guided me and now I'm here. Now I'll try to avoid Haram fiction, and in writing those I'll keep it Halal. Thank you. And if anyone know some Halal fiction please tell me their names.

But for entertainment, it's better to read novels like these rather than watching K-dramas or engaging in haram activities. If we learn something good from these stories, that's an added benefit. Fiction, especially older books, can tell us a lot about history, culture, and comparative religion. I like to look at fiction through an Islamic lens to show how society's timeless problems and questions can be addressed by Islam. I'm currently writing a fictional book for young adults with Muslim characters that does not contain haram themes as most books "for Muslim young adults" do. The sahaba used to write poetry. I think it depends on what you're reading and your intention but I am being more careful to avoid literature that glorifies haram or is a waste of time. Non fiction is a good alternative if you enjoy reading, and of course balance those books with gaining Islamic knowledge which we know will benefit us

In one minute you can say Subhaan Allaah wa bi hamdih, ‘adada khalqihi, wa ridaa nafsihi, wazinata ‘arshihi, wa midaada kalimaatihi (Glory and praise be to Allaah, as much as the number of His creation, as much as pleases Him, as much as the weight of His Throne and as much as the ink of His words) more than 15 times. This words bring many more times the reward for other forms of tasbeeh and dhikr, as was reported in saheeh ahaadeeth from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Juwairiya reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) came out from (her apartment) in the morning as she was busy in observing her dawn prayer in her place of worship. He came back in the forenoon and she was still sitting there. He (the Holy Prophet) said to her: You have been in the same seat since I left you. She said: Yes. Thereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: I recited four words three times after I left you and if these are to be weighed against what you have recited since morning these would outweigh them and (these words) are: "Hallowed be Allah and praise is due to Him according to the number of His creation and according to the pleasure of His Self and according to the weight of His Throne and according to the ink (used in recording) words (for His Praise)."

escaping reality is very deep word
Do not use it casually .... most of the time according to my research only people who escape reality are weak minded people .... and manga/ manhwa/anime has the power to make you weak minded ...
Because it makes your body realise dopamine
      That's why you can't stop !
You don't pray your salah 5 times a day instead you watch or read those
Are you really seeking the truth is life ?
Are walking on the straight path ?
Are you following our messenger's path?
Or are you not including yourself amongst the lost ?
Here's Satan comes and tells you
      "It's just a cartoon it's not haram! "
But for this very useless reason you miss your prayers !
      Return before it's too late
See the truth before you go to your grave
      Return to Allah

    Salam aleikum warahmetuAllah wabarakatu,
My father in law is an imam and he told me this concerning fantasy. That everything in Islam is halal unless it is clearly forbidden in the Quran or Sunnah. Writing fantasy is halal even if it has magic or time travel because it is entertainment. State clearly that this is not true in the beginning, do not mock Islam or the Prophet, encourage good values and do not write things of an erotic nature. Fantasy is everywhere; games, anime, shows, movies.
A few things are clearly stated as haram in the Quran leaving no doubt whatsoever that they are forbidden. Such as hurting someone or yourself. Things that are makruh are disliked or inadvisable and best avoided all together. But they are not haram.
It is far better to say that something haram is halal than to say that something halal is haram. Because the first could be human error but the second only Allah can forbid. SubhanAllah. So people who say that everything is haram, should certainly think twice before doing so. It makes it difficult to love Islam and takes people further from Allah. In fact Allah has said that if people did not sin, He would replace them with those who did. There is a hadith about sinners who got into Paradise because they repented for their sins and those sins were turned into good deeds, SubhanAllah. So Allah loves you more if you sin and draw closer to him by sincerely repenting, rather than you not sinning at all.
Islam is there to make your life easier and better. Do not be extreme or overly harsh. The degree of the sin and your intention matters. Be sensible. If you abstain from that which is doubtful, you will be rewarded but it is not punishable.

Well there is only One answer to this that, If you tell a Lie it is totally haram, and as far a i think Fantasy and Fiction totally a second name of Lie because that is not reality, every thing in fatasy is Lie so it is totally haram, if we talk about the books with fictions like animation and digital which are based on the reality or for knowlege those book do not fall in the category of fantasy because they are based on reality. i hope you undersatand what am i trying to say. because we also know about the fitna of dajaal , who axactlly get help from things like fantasy, for example if we talk about comic, anime, manga, manhuas they show in most of comics that there was a war god, there was a water god whatever , aor there are thousands of god who are watching player whatever you can think is in those novels and mangas, all these material created to make people think it is normal to do shirk which is the number 1 unforgivable sin in the islam, and now all these things gonna turn in to vr soon, these things are encouraging people to think about that the sins they are doing is ri8, like you just said God love those who do sin and then repent, but this is absolutly wrong and now you do think that it is ok to do sin ri8? i can say that you are already brainwashed in this modren world, this is absolutly wrong , the thing is every human do sins without even knowing what he is doing because of Shetan, no one is perfect other than prophets of Allah, even sahaba Ikram have done sins but they never try to do sins because they want to, but if we go by your theory that Allah love those more who do sins and then repent, what if your sins out weight the your good deeds because of those extras which you even didnt try to stop? can you gurantee that you will be 100% forgiven ? no you cannot. you write this comment here and other read it and take this for sure, and then thay also took sins something as lightly. then you will also get more sins from those people because you encoruge them to do so, can you repent enough for all of those sins? i dont think so. and no one know other than Allah, The Shetan only did one sin and didnt obey Allah and see what he became, in additon there are some sins which are completely forgivable like Shirak i mentioned above, so we dont know when we do sins which are unfogivable and which are forgivable, I know Allah is most forgiving but even so Allah said there are seven things which is totaly unforgivable if you do those even after knowing that those are unforgivable, even the normal sins are unforgivable if you do know they are sins and you repent for them and then again you are doing the same sins. I hope you understand what i am trying to say here, if not than i will pray to Allah for you. May Allah forgive your sins, but dont take it as Gurantee because that is not correct totally

Still, it haunts me that the relationship is between two non- mehrams. Its wrong I know. I don't want to do it. But I have signed the contract. I have left it for a month. But the. Since it's waste of time and doesn't bring any benefits in our akhirah and relationship with Allah SWT.
I know how hard it is to let go reading fantasy fiction book
But we need to try as hard as we can and pray to Allah to help us
Instead of reading novel fantasy that isn't real, why we not reading book about prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions or about great woman of islam, they are real people not some fantasy characters that people create, they have good character, good relationship with Allah SWT and we can learn from them too

      Sister Armila Afra,
The reply to your query regarding wearing "Haraam" clothes is explained herein below:
      1) Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, Allaah accepts (dua and other form of good deeds) only from those who are Al-Muttaqoon (the pious)”
      [Al-Maa’idah 5:27]
As you must be knowing "Muttaqoon" are those people who strictly protect themselves from the doing the acts which displeases Allaah.
      2) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stated that a response was unlikely for one who eats, drinks and wears haraam things. In the hadeeth it says: [The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)] mentioned the man who undertakes a lengthy journey and is disheveled and covered with dust, and he stretches his hands towards heaven saying, ‘O Lord, O Lord,’ when his food is haraam, his drink is haraam, his clothes are haraam. He is nourished with haraam, so how can he be granted a response?
      Narrated by Muslim, 1015.
Hope you must have understood the consequences of Haraam...

I write stories with violence and other vices but showing them in a bad light instead of glorifying those things. And there are certain intimate and mature scenes again, not promoting but in the sense of reality as what happens in the society generally in a modern setting. The propaganda of the novel is not to promote vices but to promote prevalence of good but to do that you need to show evil. What's the ruling in this case?

    • @ZeeQueIT
      @ZeeQueIT ปีที่แล้ว +1

its better to not do the things in the way of evils ofcourse, becasue if you write something very evil without even realising that, then that is the sin for you but also you are getting the share of the sins from your readers as well who will read it, as mentioned in the Quran that the Allah will say the sinner to go ask for the ones for help who misguide you , and you will be at the front of those sinners at the day of judgment. so its better to do it in a good way though. also i thing Telling lie in Islam is totally haram and fantasy is the second name of Lie i think you agree with mw on this one ri8?

Ah, I wanted to write a fictional story where a man reverts to Islam after given a Quran. He reads chapter 21 specifically, and even more specifically, verses 51-70, and he realizes that his false idiols (which he is never shown directly worshipping) are just that - false. He reverts, learns to pray, then marries a Muslim woman. which he defends against his people who don't like such things. I guess it would be a waste of time, but I've been wanting to write a halal book of a revert coming to Islam for such a long time DX
