Like you said, if you can get over not having Gibson on the headstock, these are great guitars. I’ve got the Special, the TV Yellow..It’s a great guitar, a clone of the Gibson for all practical purposes. They are simple enough to get right, and they got it right. Good review.
So glad you mentioned Billie Joe, huge fan, I just wanna have this LP Junior because of him (and also it's cheap), he's been a great inspiration for my rock n roll journey and love your videos, SUBBED!!! keep it up ✊🏼
I have that guitar and love it as well. One suggestion - try working the tone knob, not just 0 and 10. Around 6 or 7 is really quite nice with cleaner sounds, for example.
Awesome review and awesome sounds. I just got this guitar yesterday because I saw Green Day last Friday with Weezer and Fall Out Boy. This guitar just rocks, period.
sweet guitar mate! i just bagged a humbucker version epi LP jr for 120USD out the door..used but magical! gonna pop in a "hum90" in the place of the humbucker for more era correct spank n gnarlyness!
Great video. I own this guitar and love it, maybe as much as my Gibson original. What is nice about the Epiphone is that the finish is quite different . It’s much redder than any Gibson, which kind of makes it, it’s own thing.
Actually I've played a couple a Carcass songs on mine and it's great from saturated tone of Heartwork. I think Bill Steer uses one live to only difference is its Gibson not Epiphone.
Great review! Love the way you went thru the tonal responses available .
Reminds me of the Les Paul Junior Leslie West used back in the day
Got one. Worth the wait. I Love it.
Les paul jrs are my favorite guitar ❤😻
Swapped the tone pot on this for a 250k and it really opened up the tonal possibilities. Great guitar!
Finally a demo that isn't just fuzz guitar! Thank you!!!!

Thanks for this great review. I think you have finally convinced me that I should get an Epiphone Junior.

Good review, good sound. I also have one and like it very much! GREEZ FROM GERMANY!
The 2020 LP Special in TV Yellow by Epiphone does come with the 500k CTS pots
Yes!
ive owned a few epi's over the years.... and not once been dissappointed with them....... the best value other than a high end instrument...
Me too. I have two. Going to get me one of these brutes as well.

Would’ve liked to hear tone 1/2 up more , but thanks great information :)
You didn’t mention Leslie West
Great review, just put mine on lay away last week!
Great vid.....Could you Revue the Yamaha Revstar 502T
Yeah ,Yeah ,Yeah!!!
This was a great review...but the tone....damn that was good....from a Vox MV50 AC??? Really??? Wow.
Mine literally just fell off the wall thank God there's no damage a few dings by the fret board nothing to serious that I can see at least.
They look even better with the pickgard off.
Jason Mewes plays guitar 🙂🤘
Veneer top and back?😉

For some reason you remind me of James Bay!
He did exactly the same guitar today
