To be honest, from the clips he showed, Alexi's commentary was terrible. Too sparse and too slow to react.

The blue s15 from the 6:10 gave me goosebumps...wow...the driver is a beast, the way he took that turn with a wide angle and going faster than the chaser is just wow
Thanks for show the d1 machines. Since 2004 I watch d1 drift. The changes are incredible. More power, more money spent. I miss the past age when all drivers have chance to win. Hachi rokus n.a. too. This changes I think came because formula drift and American drift. #driftforokanemuch
Loved your commentary all weekend. I am in Melbourne so there are not a lot of options for things to do as we are on stage 4 restrictions, but knowing I can just put drifting on the TV and listen to some knowledgeable commentary was a godsend.
Also great to get some raw car footage, with high quality sound, and no talking over the top of it. Sorry Manabu Suzuki, still appreciate you.

Kawabata's Supra has a Toyota/Lexus 3UZ-FE V8. Fittingly, the same engine the previous gen Supra GT500 had (after 2009).
It doesn't sound like an American pushrod dinosaur because it's one of the smoothest-running DOHC V8s in the world.

So The rest of the world is team V8 and D1 team 2J Seems fair. The drifting was awesome though. Hopefully the 4 rotor will do well next event. I haven't seen it in the battles (watched from top 16)
Although the Japanese commentary is eventful, it is nice to have Alexi explain to us what in the world happens on the track. Thx for the walkthrough feels like D1 Paddock Pass.
