Great job Dad on recognizing the left out feeling of little boy. Totally normal. Especially like that you are letting him take out his own things now. I have an idea that does not cost anything but really fun for kids. Have him use your paintbrush and water to paint the stone wall. He will feel useful and it's fun to play with water. He can also make mud cakes. In a bowl a bit of sand, grass, flowers for ingredients. He practices science, measuring, cooking and many others things. Hope these suggestions are ok for you. Can mom get wool to knit or crochet to make things for winter and around the house. Keeps her fingers busy, gets to be creative and feel good about herself. Love you family

He failed to realize that God's word said that when you do a good deed the left hand shouldn't know what the right hand has given & your father who sees in secret will reward you. He failed to realize the only God is good & righteous and that when he looked for earthly praise he was stealing God's Glory. Shorab is already acting overly righteous & what goes up always comes down
